The Destin beaches are world renowned and we have enjoyed them for many years. Destin is, a preferred vacation place in Florida with many attractions --- the beach, water parks, fishing, boating restaurants and many other attractions. Chateau La Mer is a family oriented vacation resort with the atmosphere and all of the attractions that familes want. Out condo is spacious enough to accommodate large familes (or two familes) with comfort and privacy.

Chateau La Mer's grounds include 230 feet of beach with a short, easy walk to our condo, right across the road. Featuring comfort and privacy.

We are a retired couple with a family of children and grandchildren, all of whom have enjoyed our condo over the years. We are originally from Birmingham, AL, but now spend parts of the Spring and Fall at our Destin condo and rent it during the Summer and Winter. We also own a condo in Downers Grove, IL, near Chicago, where we spend some of our time being close to the family.
Most of the families who spend their vacations at our condo return year after year. We handle our rentals ourselves and don't use agents beause we like to get to know our guests personally and are in a position to handle any special requests.
