Beachfront living at its best!! This large, custom home also offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the Alsea Bay Bridge and Alsea Bay itself! Immediate beach access from the deck allows you to enjoy miles of sandy beaches for beachcombing.
This 2,650 square foot home had new siding, roof, deck and windows installed for the entire house in Spring 2008! The home is tastefully decorated with modern furnishings, and is supplied with new linens. The huge kitchen, great room and dining rooms overlook the ocean and are perfect for large groups with a table that seats 12, and extra seating at the bar. The upgraded kitchen also has views of the Alsea Bay and Bridge, and boasts a second counter bar and separate table for playing cards or games.
An island cook-top, corian counters, and large pantry make this kitchen a pleasure to cook and socialize in! The great room boasts plenty of comfortable seating, a lounger and fun floor pillows, and has a 32" flat screen TV with DVD player. Vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan and an entire wall of large picture windows make this room a terrific spot for family to gather and enjoy the Pacific Ocean.
The master bedroom in this house is truly a pleasure. Wake up to the sound of waves crashing in your backyard, and step out onto the private deck with your cup of coffee to enjoy the view. The master has a king bed, twin futon, walk-in-closet, and attached bath with a large soaking tub and separate shower. Two other bedrooms upstairs face Alsea Bay, one with a king bed and one with a queen. The second full bath and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer are in the hall.
The downstairs den is the perfect place for the kids to "get away"! This huge room offers a large TV/DVD/VCR combo unit, two comfortable full sleeper couches, a twin bunk bed, pillows and games. It's just the place for the kids to escape to on a rainy afternoon! The other downstairs bedroom offers two comfy twin beds and a twin bunk bed set. All bunk bed mattresses are new, purchased 9/2010. With a foos-ball table upstairs, and air hockey in the garage, the house is well equiped to entertain even on a stormy Oregon afternoon! Deep 2-car garage and other parking available.
This amazing rental home is in the Bayshore community, which is adjacent to the charming town of Waldport, and is just a short drive to Newport, Yachats, and other popular coastal towns. Newport (15 minutes to the North) has a quaint old town harbor, plenty of shopping and restaurants, and a wonderful aquarium which is fun for all ages. The Sea Lion Caves and dune buggy rides and rentals are just to the South.
