  One of the most relaxing vacations I've had. Our family had a blast in this fantastic, well equipped cabin. Everything was working well and the owner was fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplaces, fire pit, pool table, foozball, video game, BBQ, and all of the comfort. The couches and beds were plush and heaven . Thanks Bob for sharing your wonderful place with the world. Highly recommended .

  This is a lovely, tastefully decorated, very clean, and spacious home. It is the perfect family home. The views are breathtaking. I was also taken by the attention to details in every room of the house. The beds are incredibly comfortable for a good night's rest. The house is close enough to the city for groceries and miscellaneous, and very convenient to downtown Blue Ridge and Mercier Orchard with its delightful apple and blueberry pies. We will definetely return.

  We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The owners are most helpful and accommodating, and the cabin far exceeded our expectations. Fantastic view from each room in the cabin. We plan on returning in the near future.

  If you are in the least bit interested in visiting the mountain region of Georgia, this is the place to stay! Huge all-natural wood home (cabin is a mis-nomer as it is bigger than many houses) with spectacular view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Peaceful wild-life-filled surroundings. Within minutes' drive to quaint Blue Ridge Village with art galleries, arts/craft shops, eateries and candy/ice cream shops. Near opportunities for hiking, canoeing, white-water-rafting, horse-back-riding. Can cook out or in, relax in the hot tub and watch flying squirrels. Beautiful and inviting interior decor. Found myself taking photos of the cabin interior as much as the great outdoors. Great location for a family vacation, reunion or Holiday retreat.

  My wife and I rent a lot of vacation properties and this one may have taken over 1st place! Great amenities inc. high end kitchen cookware. A mere 10 minute drive in to down town Blue Ridge as well. The view, combined with the spacious hot tub followed by cocktails by the nightly fire made for a super get away for us.   Thank You for making our stay in the Blue Ridge area such a good one.... The house was very clean and everything was in great shape....kitchen had everything we needed to cook easily and eat well. Our kids played video games and pool....we all enjoyed the hotub.... and we ended with s'mores by the fire pit. It was a comfortable and easy house to settle into. We found great hikes and fly fishing in the area. Thanks.

  Many thanks for the wonderful stay at your gorgeous property. The views from the deck were beautiful with our morning coffe and evening coctails. "Cabin" is hardly fitting as this was more like a mountain lodge. Our party of 11 was more then comfortable and could easily have accomadated more. The furnishings were top notch and true to the mountain motiff. The interior was spacious and the complete kitchen fully stocked. Close by is the hamlet of Blue Ridge. This small village is filled with interesting shops from clothing to antiques to food and wine. I especially enjoyed the moring walks and the breathtaking views across the fog shrouded hollers. I would highly recommend this porperty as a truly relaxing getaway. The owners made the expeience successful from the ease of bookong to the meticlous condition of the property.

  My boyfriend and I have stayed in several cabins over the years. We love the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia and Big Sky was by far the best cabin we've seen. The location itself was perfect for us and all of our friends to meet. Some of us live in the city and our drive there was a little over an hour----a pleasant and easy drive once we were out of rush hour traffic. If you want to get away from some peace and quiet this is the place to go. We found this area so peaceful and beautiful. I really loved our view of the sunsets and mountains from our deck. This cabin comfortably accomodated 10 of us and we absolutely enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner together family-style. We also loved the fireplace/great room area. What a great place to just relax by the fire, sip some wine, and catch up with old friends. The guys also loved the downstairs where they could shoot pool and watch football. However, if you want to get out for an afternoon you may want to visit the mountain town Blue Ridge--a great place to sight see, go out for lunch,or shop. Blue Ridge is only a 10-15 minute drive from our cabin and I recommend everyone at least visiting this cute little town once. We also found the cabin was furnished with just about anything you could want---extra pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, even cozy warm bath robes. We have been to other cabins where we've been disapppointed with having only a few towels and one pillow or blanket. That's what makes this place so special--the owners are very detail-oriented and make you feel like you are at home. We found them friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions prior to our stay. I will definitely return to Big Sky and recommend this cabin to all!

  everything that was advertised was there. lots of activities to keep busy . very relaxing atmosphere yet blue ridge close if you wanted a change. walking and enjoying the foliage was a plus.the cabin was very roomy and comfortable. plenty of space for a large family.could not have had a better stay and we are very anxious to return soon.

  Thank you for opening your cabin to our group. It was a spectacular weekend. I feel it's important to share my thoughts of Big Sky Lodge with everyone. First and foremost, the view from every window was so breathtaking and so incredible. We had several in our party and none of us had the feeling of being in close quarters or uncomfortable. We never had a problem with privacy. I want to commend you for going a step further in accomodating everyone's needs. Other vacation rentals only offer the most basic of items to prepare and cook meals. At Big Sky Lodge, you have gone above and beyond by providing from the biggest to the smallest of things. I felt like I was in my own kitchen. The same goes for the bathroom. You provided toiletries from shampoos, lotions to Q- Tips and even make up remover. This is so appreciative. Towels and linens were never sparse. That was a wonderful gesture. You have added many great qualities to making my weekend so complete that I will definitely come every year. Additional information about rental rates

Rate based on 6 guests. $10 per night for each additional guest. Holiday rate is $215 per night. 2-night minimum. 3-night minimum on holidays. 4-night minimum July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Plus cleaning fee.

First night rental due to reserve the cabin. Remaining balance charged 30 days prior to arrival. We do not charge a separate deposit or any reservation fee.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

$100 cleaning fee and 12% Tax on total.
