Miles of trails and paths offer opportunities for biking, jogging, walking and exploring. One of the most beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean is just a five-minute bike or car ride away, and three of the island's best golf courses are just minutes from your front door.
Palmetto Dunes Outfitters, a three-minute drive away, offers bicycles for rent as well as fishing gear, canoes, kayaks and funyaks for those wanting to explore the 11-mile lagoon. Just a short walk, bike or car ride away is Shelter Cove Marina and its extraordinary Mediterranean-style marketplace. Watch the boats set sail, or board your own charter fishing boat for an exciting day on the water. Stroll by some of Hilton Head’s finest shops and restaurants with dockside seating, live entertainment and a variety of cuisine. Shelter Cove presents a spectacular fireworks display over the marina every Tuesday night during the summer months.

Enter into a spacious great room/living area with cathedral ceiling and a big-screen TV over the fireplace, VHS/DVD player and stereo and spectacular views of the pool and lagoon from the large windows. Wireless, hi-speed internet access is available throughout the house.
The private pool area is great for lounging, sunning, swimming and lagoon-watching. Go fishing or crabbing from the private dock at lagoon’s edge. Pick up some fresh seafood at one of the many area shops and prepare a feast on the gas grill at poolside.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, icemaker and microwave oven and a TV to catch the morning news. Serve meals in the sunlit breakfast room overlooking the pool and lagoon or in the formal dining room just off the kitchen and great room. A separate laundry center with washer and dryer is just inside the two-car garage. The master bedroom with separate pool deck access offers a king-size bed, large tiled bathroom with two walk-in closets, a walk-in shower, and Jacuzzi tub. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are on the opposite side of the home from the master, offering lots of privacy. Bedroom #2 has its own king-sized bed and marvelous views of the pool area and lagoon, and Bedroom #3 has two twin beds. Bedroom #4 is located upstairs and has a queen bed and its own separate bathroom and living area, so the house can sleep up to eight people. All bedrooms have TV/DVD combos, as if you had time to watch!
