The log home of the Diamond R in Jackson Hole has a long history of Wyoming hospitality. Cabins that had once been a part of the Elbo Ranch in Grand Teton National Park were moved to their current location over forty years ago. Originally located near today's trailhead for Taggert Lake, the Elbo Ranch evolved from a bustling complex of rodeo site, dance hall, groceries and gas to a dude ranch which moved in the mid 1950's to just north of Kelly, Wy. Later, the Elbo Ranch became the site of the Teton Science School environmental education center for youth.
This home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath which has been newly furnished, with an added Jacuzzi! This home has it all. Quiet relaxing, and comfortable. This house is completely open to animal stays as well !!
The largest and most distinctive cabin forms the central part of The Diamond R historic log home. The buildings have been beautifully maintained through the years and are surrounded by many trees, now 40 years old, including blue spruce and willow trees, lilac, honeysuckle and berry bushes. Board sidewalks connect the cabins and the corrals and buck fences remain from when horses were kept on the property.
The Grand Teton and adjoining peaks can be seen from the home’s covered porch and on the short drive to Town.
This Jackson Hole Lodging to the Jackson Hole Rental Homes inventory. A secluded log cabin for those seeking private time.
