"It must have been fate that brought us Canadians here for a brief stay during our hectic 6,000km tour of the Western States. This bucolic setting and incredible cabin provided a perfect tonic!"

We rented three of the cabins for a family wedding near by. Jaybirds is so 'homey' and well decorated inside and out. The sense of family and history lives and and we felt like we were home. We really enjoyed our stay here and will recommend Abbott Valley to our friends and family. Jaybirds was our meeting place at night for games, cards, and reconnecting!

"Dear future guests...we so enjoyed our stay here..sitting on the deck with some wine, cheese and fruit,and listening to the birds was our favorite thing to do after a long day hiking and sightseeing..we loved our frequent visitors who we just called 'dog' and 'cat'..they made us feel right at home..this cabin was everything we hoped for and more."

"What a wonderful place, so peaceful! These cabins were awesome for our family gathering. With 12 children in our group I never felt overwhelmed by their youthful exuberances because they had room to safely roam and play...Jaybirds is a beautiful house with so many fine touches. We especially loved all the flowers..thank you from all 18 of us.

"Thankyou for such a wonderful home away from home! The place was spacious and perfect for our family...our four boys are already asking when we can come back! The loved playing in the creek after a day of exploring Glacier, and the fire pit was an excellent way to end the evenings..."

"We are back celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. "We had such a special time here..the set up was perfect for a family reunion. The kids loved the swings, creek and horses...we enjoyed endertaining family and friends on the patio which had space for mutiple people..we hate to leave.."

"Our group rented all three places...it was fun to go visiting from cabin to cabin, deck to deck. The layout, amemities and beds were wonderful! The grounds and trail made for some beautiful strolls. Abbott Valley is the perfect place to use as a 'home base' when visiting this amazing area.

"We lived our dream and stayed for a month...immersing our kids in nature and a different way to live..the quote on the wall says it all:'when you finally begin to understand just what it is about Montana that is important to you, it has already taken root in your heart and you'll never be the same.' An unforgettable time for sure...beautiful, peaceful, serene..an opportunity to embrace simplicity. And so much excitement...bears, avalanches, and seeing a calf being born..we'll be back..

"When we first arrived here, we found a place of peace, beauty, and serenity. "We loved our stayt here at the cabin. The setting is just perfect! The boys loved watching you cut the hay and later in the week the cows and horses. One evening we were lucky enough to catch sight of a moose with her baby across the field. This has been an unforgettable vacation. Thanks so much."
