Marsh front vacation rental home on Beaufort's Fripp Island Resort
Our relaxing 3 bedroom, 3 bath home is located in the Sawgrass community of Fripp Island, South Carolina. Our home is tucked away in a maritime forest with panoramic views of the salt water marsh, palm trees, & wildlife from every window!
What makes this home different form the others on Fripp is the care taken when renovating this home. The house has been decorated in a Caribbean look & finished in island colors so you will know that you are truly on vacation!
Another reason our home is special is because of the privacy our home offers, being surrounded by palms and water, not jammed up to other homes on all sides.
This is a very comfortable, relaxing property located close to the beach, marshes, community pool, playground, & crabbing dock. By Golf Cart, the beach is less than a 5 minute drive. Our golf cart and 4 bikes are included with the rental of the home.
The Master Suite has a king bed, a private balcony & private bathroom. The two other bedrooms, one upstairs & one downstairs, each have queen beds. We have luxury sheets in all bedrooms, as well as Cable TV & high speed internet, a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, & central heat & AC.
Fripp Island will provide world class golf & tennis, beautiful beaches, & abundant wildlife. The island is home to countless species of birds, deer, loggerhead turtles, dolphin, egrets, herons, & many other nautical species.
Three and a half miles of pristine beach provide the perfect location to spend the day in relaxation. Dining, shopping, marinas, restaurants, & sightseeing provide something for every member of the family. Just 17 miles away is historic downtown Beaufort, & Hunting & Harbor Island are both within five miles.

Early Summer... May 1 to frist Saturday in June .. $1400 per week
We require a refundable security deposit to reserve our home.
11% SC lodging tax and cleaning are added to the above total.
Full Payment of Rental is due 45 days prior to arrival.

Why the Owner Chose Sawgrass
We chose this vacation home because we loved the Island and we loved the marsh views. We had visited nearby Hunting Island quite often, but had never really spent much time on Fripp until after 2001.
We really fell in love with Fripp right away! We loved how laid back everything was. Fripp's beaches are very spacious. The island has a good bit of activity, but never seems to be overcrowded. The people on the island and in our community are all very nice. We loved how you could drive the golf cart right to the beach and have a parking space! This was just a place we wanted to be!
Sawgrass Bluff where our home is located really impressed us because it has such a natural beach feel. Palm trees surround the house, the marshes back up to the house, you can see crabs, fish, birds, etc all in their natural habitat.
We have loved our home and are so glad that we were lucky enough to be able to find a place that suited us so well!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at this marsh front Fripp Island home. Everything was exactly as described on the website, and we found the spacious house to very well maintained and comfortable. We really enjoyed walking around the island and taking the golf cart to the beach. The owners were always accessible by phone and e-mail and answered all our questions. There are several interesting places nearby - we also visited Port Royal, Beaufort, and Savannah, Georgia. Our favorite restaurant was Moon Doggie's in Port Royal! This was our first visit to Fripp Island, and we definitely plan to return!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
A Semi Tropical Paradise

Coming from the historic city of Bath, England, we had no idea what to expect from Fripp Island and we were completely amazed by this sub tropical paradise! The house was the essence of comfort and style, we had so much fun roaming around the island on the golf buggy and the bicycles and the beach was completely out of a magazine. This is the perfect place to really kick back and forget the pressures of life, play golf, sit on the veranda, watch the wild life - we were determined to catch site of an alligator before we left and finally succeeded - we also saw a possum climb a tree with her baby in her pouch! the Island is near to other small towns and shopping is easy so best to stock up and stay there for a while and let the world float away. We wishes we had more time so plan to re-book another year. Highly recommended!

Took the family for a week stay, and loved every minute. Easy access to everything, great weather for the time of year and easy to book! Will do it again sometime, and we recommend to everyone

“Thank you so much for the pleasure of staying at your lovely home on this beautiful island. We had a wonderful four days, and were pleasantly surprised when our new Marine wanted to stay an extra night in S.C. before going home after graduation. We were so excited for him to be able to see Fripp and relax a little. He loved it! We will definitely let everyone know about your home, and encourage other recruit/Marine families to stay here. The little extra drive is WELL worth it. The beauty of Fripp Island was the perfect way to celebrate our son’s graduation from boot camp. We’ll be back!”

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in this house. It is perfect. It's in a quiet neighborhood on the island. Great for walking or biking with kids. The house is very clean and has everything you need for your vacation. The owners are great to work with!

This was a very comfortable property. I liked the way it was set on a "less busy" street but accesible to everything. It is decorated well but you still feel like you can kick your feet up. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. The views are beautiful. The wildlife is very tame, you can sit and watch deer from the deck. I would definitely stay here again.
