Welcome to this spectacular waterfront cedar home, located in Sprucewald bordering Spruce Point. Enjoy breathtaking views both across Linekin Bay and out towards Negro and Fisherman's Islands. The contemporary design takes full advantage of the secluded location allowing you to feel perched in trees overlooking the water.
The main level of the house is dominated by a huge stone fireplace in the open living dining area surrounded by a large deck with picnic table, lounge chairs and BBQ. The morning sun makes breakfast out on the deck very inviting. Enjoy our fully equipped kitchen or walk a half mile to the Spruce Point Inn for casual or formal dining. A drive to town is only two miles away, if you prefer the larger selection of restaurants of all types offered there.
On the main level, opening onto the front deck, is a master bedroom with full bath. The second bedroom with its own deck is in the back. A loft which can be used for sleeping overlooks the living room.
The lower level, reached by a spiral staircase, contains two bedrooms each with sliding glass doors to the outside and two twin beds.
The second bath with shower and a laundry area is also located on this ground level. Walk out these bedroom doors to follow a path to the rocky shore in front and your own private dock with a float from which you can swim, boat or watch the lobstermen pull their traps. The two river kayaks, a small rowboat and a canoe are available for guest's use to be launched from the private dock. Two mountain bikes make the ride to town very convenient. A deepwater mooring is also available with permission of owner.
This secluded home is at the end of a private road which ensures privacy. The high, wraparound deck offers spectacular views of Linekin Bay and the ocean and islands (but requires supervision for toddlers or very small children).

The Preson's house is a great place for a large family or,as in our caase, an ideal place to join with our N.J. daugher and her family. Very spacious, beautiful view out over Linekin Bay, wonderful sunrises, all you could ask for in the kitchen. We all, esp. the grandchildren, made good use of the canoe and the kayaks and spent time on the dock at night watching the stars. We've enjoyed lobster dinners on the deck while watching the ospreys trying to catch their dinner. It's a good base for exploring the rest of the Boothbay region.. Wonderful week. We really enjoyed our visit. Great views amidst a peaceful setting along the tree lined shore of Linekin Bay. A nice spot to rest, relax and recharge,as the Lobster Boats pull their pots right of the end of the dock.

We loved the location of this house. It was great being able to watch the lobster boats from the deck or right up close on the dock. The open concept was great for our family outing.

A wonderful home and a wonderful time! Bob spent a considerable amount of time looking for the elusive stripped bass, he did catch & release many blues. Enjoyed the tranquility of the setting, reading and relaxing, watching the "traffic" on the water go by. Ate lots of blueberries & lobster. Great week, thank you! (as entered in Preston's guest book)
