  Everything was very, very nice. We went with another family and they stayed in Cumbrian Lakes also but their house was not as nice, clean or informative as yours. We would love to stay at your house again and we will let all our family and friends know about your place.

  Hi Mary We absolutely loved your villa! It was perfect and the boys of course particularly loved the pool! We saw a dolphin and a sting ray jumping in and out of the water whilst we sat on the beach! We made it to the Kennedy Space Centre and the Magic Kingdom as well as Seaworld. Thank you again for letting us stay in your great villa which we will recommend to all our friends!

  Hi Mary, We had a fantastic week, weather couldn't have been better. The coldest day was 22 Celsius, hottest was low 30's. As always the house was in great shape, and we even saw an alligator in the pond this time (1st time!), and some armadillos rustling about in the back yard.   Hi Christine Arrived back yesterday morning after a wonderful 2 weeks in Florida. Just wanted you to know that your house very soon became home to us. It is not only a beautiful house, but was ideal in its arrangement for our needs. As you can see from the photograph attached, the pool was put to very good use. We have rented houses previously in Florida, but none have come close to yours. Thank you from all the family Elaine & Graham

  Just to say thank you for letting us stay in your villa - it has been fantastic. You really do seem to have thought of everything and the hair straighteners were most appreciated when I realised that mine would not work!!

  Hi Mary - Just a short note to let you know we are absolutely delighted with this beautiful home you and Christine have made here in Cumbrian Lakes. We have rented in CL for the past 6 or so years, and your home is by far the nicest, best decorated, cleanest and best stocked home we have rented here. You have thought of everything in providing the everyday necessities--thank you. Our brief interaction with Heidi was warm and welcoming, as was our brief contact with Larena.   You have a beautiful villa which is very well set up and you can see how much thought you have put into it, with all the information which is available and the extra's such as the beautiful decor, lots of towels, children's teddies, pictures of your local villages on the wall etc, which make it that extra bit special and makes your villa stand out from the rest. The children said it was the best villa they have ever stayed in !! I think you will be interested to know that we have stayed at Cumbrian Lakes in a villa with the same layout as yours before' but I think that for a family having the games room makes it that extra special as the children loved playing in there first thing in a morning or when we got back from the parks and the adults needed some relaxation time. Previously we also had to find a rental office to collect the villa key. This turned into a nightmare driving up and down the 192 after a long flight and three very tired children. Being able to get yours out of the safety box on the wall was an excellent idea. A friend has just walked into my house and I am giving her your details Well once again many thanks for the use of a beautiful villa, you should be very proud of what you have achieved.

We found the property was everything you advertised it was and everything we wanted for our vacation and had a wonderful time.   Hello Mary and Christine, We enjoyed our stay in your vacation home very much. Your house is beautiful and so warm and cozy. It was such a nice home base to return to after the long days of park-hopping. It has everything one could want, or need, while being away from home. It was really a pleasure and we would love to stay there again when we take our next Florida vacation.   Just to let you know we returned home from Cumbrian Lakes yesterday after having a wonderful time in your lovely villa. The weather was approx 12 degrees above average - So as you can imagine the pool was well used. I wrote in your visitors book and said I would highly recommend the villa, but I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to use your home with all it's great facilities. Stacey

  We all had a great time and your villa was fantastic to say the least. Being on one level as opposed to two in the past we found it so much easier to communicate especially when we were ready to go out. Everything we needed was there and with Walmart along the 192 being just a 5 minute drive away, we did not feel we were put out in getting our food shopping. Your villa had everything we could ask for and if we return to Florida at some point we will certainly be seeing whether your villa is available. I have even heard that one of my daughters friend’s Dad was really impressed by some of the photo’s we had taken of the villa and was asking for details assuming to look at a future booking. So all in all a fantastic holiday by all was had and your villa played a massive part in this

  The villa was beautiful - spotless and really well equipped. We were all delighted when we walked in. The kids were going from room to room going "wow" and "look at this"!! The "personal" tourist info you have in the villa was a really nice touch. Better than just a load of leaflets and gave us your opinions on everything which was nice to read. Thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful house - we loved it and had the best time ever!

  just a quick note to say that we are back from a FANTASTIC time in Florida - we had a brilliant holiday! The kids were absolutely thrilled when they found out where they were going (at check in!). The house was lovely and really felt like home - we didn't want to leave!   We wanted to drop you a quick line just to say how much we enjoyed our time in Florida, and how grateful we were for the opportunity to sample the delights of Cumbrian Lakes Villa. The villa was exactly what we wanted, and it more than met all our needs during the fortnight. It was brilliant to be able to relax indoors or out, and the pool was a real benefit! You appear to have thought of everything, from pool towels to guide books and maps, and the standard of the accommodation was outstanding. Floridians were complaining that it was getting cool, but at an average of about 82 degrees, we were far from cold!! Thanks again for making the villa available. It was just the ticket for the four of us. I hope you don’t mind if we tell our friends about it – it may bring more bookings! Best wishes Graham and Denise

  ...As for your villa that has been one of the best experiences for me in my life and to be able to take my boys at their age was great and something they have been very lucky to have had.   This review will be very short because everything at this home was marvelous! We were a family of 6 adults/3 couples who were traveling together for the first time. Before arrival, our communication with the owners and facilitators was warm, friendly and over-acommodating. They went waaaaaaaaay out of their way to help me through the process. I was extemely skeptical of renting a home that I had no personal review for. Never again will I worry about this company. Everything in the home worked perfectly except for a small TV problem which was fixed w/in one day. The company rep that came was knowledgeable and eager to please. We always had hot water for baths and showers even with 6 of us. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with all conveniences for your family to cook and eat at the home. The rep was able to talk us through our Internet connection and it always worked perfectly. The Play Room had many fun opportunites. The pool area was also immaculate, large with easy access and private. The home is situated so that the back door/pool view is an extensive wooded area. Was restful, quiet and refreshing. The neighborhood was beautiful and well kept. The gate always worked unless some other tourist repeatedly plugged in the wrong code. Ha, Ha! All the exiting community guests were helpful and friendly in that situation, along with the company rep. We were astonished at how little time it took us to get to the DisneyWorld theme parks even with the construction to widen the main road. That is probably finished by now, but still worked well even then. A local Walmart, CVS and Walgreen's pharmacy, Publix grocery and all the resturants we could ever want were within a 5-10 minute EASY drive. The best part of the experience for me was working with the owners and getting to know them. They are very kind and genuinely nice people. (That's very important to a Texan!) The best part of the experience for my children and husband was seeing the neighborhood and then the house. Their exclamations upon arrival were "Wow, Mom! You really scored this time!" No better review can come from a family who has traveled around N. America and Europe, with good accommodations and horrid ones. We now tenderly call this property "Our Florida Home"! Try it and I think you will be extremely happy with the home, the owners, the company reps and your vacation/holiday. Oh, well. So much for a short review. Is a wonderful home!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have gone waaaay over again and bought new TVs including a large, wide screen one for the living area. The pool deck is still the same with its wonderful view - we have recently seen a deer wandering out of the wood - and I can't wait to go back myself.
