  We visited Bill's condo for our honeymoon, and it was a truly wonderful experience! Bill was extremely helpful giving us tips about the islands, and the check-in procedure was well coordinated and a breeze. The condo is very well-maintained and newly redecorated. We arrived to an absolutely spotless condo including all the amenities we could want or need: a fully-equipped kitchen (even includes some spices and cooking basics like oil), a bathroom stocked with some nice travel size toiletries, lots of towels/ beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and ice packs, A/C and cable TV. We did rent a car from the airport and HIGHLY recommend it-- it gives you great mobility and makes the trip a lot more fun (parking at the condo was also very easy). It can be very difficult to get a taxi after about 8 pm, so the car gave us lots of freedom. The vew from the balcony was absolutely awesome every morning! We enjoyed our stay so very much- used many of Bill's suggestions and loved all the beaches. We were so thankful we decided to stay at Sapphire Beach-- the east side of the island is much quieter and has a concentration of great beaches within a quick drive (Coki, Secret Harbour, Maegan's Bay), and the Red Hook ferry to St. John was super accessible (we took the car ferry and were glad we did-- taxis over there get expensive quickly!). The condo was definitely better than we imagined, and we felt like we were in good (and competent) hands the whole time. The knowledge that we were dealing with a professional who takes his rental seriously was a great boon to us, and ensured we had a fantastic vacation! We would love to go back!

  My husband and I made a spur of the moment decision to travel to St. Thomas. We've been to the island before but didn't think we could find accommodations on such short notice. So we surfed the internet. I'm so glad we found Bill's ad and called him. He was exceptionally accommodating which made the whole booking process a pleasure to go through considering we were leaving home in under 5 days. The pictures on the website only tell a small story about this beautiful condo and when we arrived, we were not disappointed. The condo was not only beautiful, but immaculate! And the view amazing. I love the granite counter tops in the kitchen and dressing area. The stainless appliances and sink were shinning like new silver. As we looked around unit, we could tell this condo is loved and very well maintained. We did not rent a car so it was nice the complex was close to local transportation and has a restaurant on site. We found getting around to be quit simple. We just hopped on the dollar ride and went where ever it would take us. The ride into Red Hook was quick and from there we took the ferry over to St. John to spend the day at Trunk Bay. Before we came back to the condo, we had dinner at Cafe Roma where the food was delicious. We also took the dollar ride down to the waterfront, Yacht Haven Grand and Havensight Mall where I shopped till I dropped while my husband made the rounds to find the best Pina Colada. He didn't find anyplace down there that can beat the Ritz Carlton's Pina Coladas. If you're looking for a place that has everything and is clean and luxurious, look no further than Condo Oceano Blu at Sapphire Village. No doubt you'll love it as much as we did. Next year we're staying longer. This trip was too short, but sweet and memorable!

  My wife and I stayed for a week at the condo before our Caribbean cruise. We rented a car and found the condo ideally located. First there are no stairs to climb. The entrance is close to the parking. Once inside, everything is there, including beach chairs and towels. The view from the balcony is awesome! Shops and restaurants are only a short drive away. A walk down to the beach provided our daily exercise. At the beach there is a good restaurant, a marina where you can rent boats and excursions, wonderful sand and swimming and of course the laundromat! The condo is close to all the east side beaches and resorts as well as Redhook where we took a day ferry ride to St. John. I would recommend this condo if you are planning a trip to St Thomas.

Just out side of our entrances gates is the scenic overview looking down Island to the British Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.   Yes, I know everyone that lives and works on the island paraphrases it as "paradise" but to us first-timers it seems very true. Even in the heat and humidity of middle summer, Bill's condo has so much going for it that our vacation-of-a-lifetime seemed like a true visit to paradise. The condo was spotless, upscale, stocked with so many things that came in handy, and my oh my - what a view! There's a little swimming pool only steps away but we never used it. Who had time? The Sapphire Grill was a short walk downhill with lots of tasty treats and live music. Walking back up the hill was not a problem after a couple "Painkillers." The beach is further downhill but worth every step. White, powder sands, palm and banyan trees for shade, a snorkeling reef to die for, beach ducks to entertain you (beach ducks?), iguanas to challenge you (they look fierce but are harmless), and a little diving shop to supply all your needs. There's a marina nearby for renting ski jets, boats, or booking cruises. We took a great one to the BVIs (New Horizons) for even better snorkeling and fun at "The Baths." You can do it all from this condo without ever needing a rental car! Walking over to the site entrance we caught the "Dollar" bus daily, saved a lot in taxi fares and mingled with the locals on the bus. What lovely, warm, helpful people. Hopped into Red Hook almost daily for Happy Hours, groceries, shopping, dinners, and catching the ferry to St. John for other shopping, dinners, and Happy Hours. OMG, it's all so easy and relatively nearby! We had a lovely time and will definitely come back again and again.

  The photos don't do the condo justice. The view is amazing! The condo was very clean and well maintained, a diamond in the ruff. Bill, the owner was very helpful and made great suggestions. The Mafolie Hotel has a great restaurant with a breath taking view. Duffy's Love Shack in Red Hook is a great experience with good food, music and drinks. The Ferry to St. John was great and Trunk Bay Beach is very beautiful! I would recommend the condo to friends and family who don't mind being away from downtown but only a short taxi or safari ride away.

  We just spent a great week at a condo. It's such a fantastic place--it is very well maintained and equipped, with great views from the balcony, and easy drive to red hook (for groceries and restaurants) and beaches. The owner was easy to work with and very helpful.

  The condo was in a great location! It was clean, very well equipped and well maintained. Beautiful! The owner was very helpful in answering all questions and providing all necessary information to make our stay enjoyable. All the beaches were beautiful! Condo is located only 1/2 mile to the ferry to St. John. I would highly recommend this condo. We are planning a return trip next year!

  We stayed 6 nights in April 2012 in this beautiful condo. Everything was as advertised, we had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook like at home. Everything was clean and the pictures do not do the views justice!!!! The place was extremely quiet and private, we felt like it was a private villa. Do a day sail with Breakaway charters in the Sapphire Marina you will not regret it! 5 stars all the way!!!

  My husband & I had the best 2 week vacation to date in St Thomas. This condo was everything it says and more. Super clean, modern, and very well equipped. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out at the ocean and other islands. Beautiful view and nice blue water all around you. It is a short down hill walk to the beach or lower pool, but we liked that because we had less people around so it was quieter. Bill was very helpful and took time to give great recommendations. We did just about everything he suggested. We had planned on renting a car, but ended up not really needing it. The taxis are reasonable and the safaris are even more inexpensive. We found a driver we liked and used him pretty much solely between Red Hook & Sapphire. One great recommendation Bill gave us was to go down to the docks in Red Hook and talk to some of the boat captains. We didn't really want to go on an excursion with 20-30 other people. We found a great guy that took us over to the British Virgin Islands. We snorkeled at Norman Island which was fabulous. We went to Tortola and Jost Van Dyke. Had lunch at Willie T's and swam in to Soggy Dollar Bar and had a few Painkillers. Gorgeous trip & day! Cost was more, but well worth being able to set your own agenda. Locally we enjoyed Fish Tails, Bambooz, Island Time Pub, Molly Malones, and Duffy's Love Shack (little loud). The crew at Sapphire Grill became our friends and we had some crazy fun with them. Sapphire Beach is awesome with blue blue water and a white sandy beach. My husband videod some sea turtles while snorkeling there. Go out aways to the sea grass in the afternoon to find them. Snorkeling is also great at Coki beach. We enjoyed several trips into Charlotte Amalie to shop and sightsee and also spent a good amount of time on St John. We were very sad to have to go back to the frozen North, but we will return to St Thomas and this condo. Almost forgot to mention the rooster that was somewhere down by the beach that would wake us up every morning in time to watch the sunrise. Beautiful. He is affectionately known as Rooster Fish!   everything that is shown and written about this condo is so true. it is very clean and has all the amenities one could think of. the couch is quite comfortable and very easy to use for a second sleeping arrangement. the view from the terrace is all water and islands with greenery. then, the beach....ahhh yes. just beautiful with blue, clear water. the snorkeling is terrific. a 20-minute boat ride to st john's was scenic and trunk bay is gorgeous. also, magen's bay on st thomas gets the same review. our favorite restaurant is fish tails. delicious fresh catch-of-the-day with friendly, attentive service. we also loved lime inn and we had a fun time at duffy's love shack and the sapphire bar and grille as well. mr. sands is very helpful with whatever questions one would have. i would go back tomorrow if i could and i will definitely recommend this condo! keep in mind that one doesn't need to over-pack. a bathing suit and cover-up is all that is needed during the day. we brought our breakfast/lunch to the beach everyday and changed for dinner at night. the wildlife is interesting. saw a lot of different birds (parrots, hummingbirds, etc). go have fun and use the helpful information that is on the table as soon as you walk in! we didn't rent a car as getting a taxi (very reasonable and reliable) was simple. we'd call and one would be in front of the building within 5 minutes. the residents drive on the left side of the road and there are no sidewalks, although people do walk. red hook is less than 5 min from condo (restaurants, supermarket, etc). also keep in mind that on days when the cruise ships are coming in--the locals know when and how many---always go to the left side of the beach to not be in the middle of the crowds if that's your pleasure. enjoy!
