With a magnificent Banyan tree in the back ,the largest screened pool on the island, and only palm trees between you and miles of white sand beach, this is the perfect island get-away.
The house is open and cheerful-a perfect spot for families or groups to enjoy each other in a casual beach front atmosphere. The full kitchen opens to a large dining/family room which overlooks the pool. There are no houses between you and the beach---only lush vegetation with a sandy short path to the beach. There are 4 twins and 2 kings in the four bedrooms.
This is a location that has something for everyone. Take a ride on the free island Trolley. There are numerous restaurants on the island and you are close to the shops, theatres,or Ringling museum in Sarasota. Play golf at one of the many nearby courses. Spend a day fishing or kayaking in the bay or gulf,attend a spring training ball game with the Pirates or Yankees. Drive across the bridge and down Longboat Key to the Mote Aquarium or ST. Armand's Square.
Tampa airport is just 1 hour away and you can be at Disney World, Sea World,or Busch Gardens in Orlando in 2 hours--but the best is to just hang out in a beautiful place, enjoy friends and watch the sun set over the Gulf.

This is the lower floor of a two story house. We were led to believe we were renting the entire house. Pool was not heated. Front entrance is full of cob webs and spiders. Air conditioner is inadequate during summer months. Never got the house below 80 degrees at night...Great location, at the end of the street, but people park on the property and use the property as a cul de sac. as they access the beach. Unkept property.
Owner response:Some of the criticisms were valid. We have contacted an HVAC company to repair the A/C and have added an A/C unit to the back bedroom. We have contacted the cleaning company to improve the service. The house rents as advertised. 4 bedrooms/3 baths, kitchen and a large spacious dining/living area. The upstairs is not finished and not used by renters or owners. The house is on a cul de sac and within a short stroll to the beach which is part of the charm of the place. The pool is the largest on the island. It is not heated at this time. This is a charming beach house in a pristine location.
