It had been many years since I had visited the Gatlinburg area. After an amazing trip last month, staying at Absolutely Wonderful Cabin, I am hooked and can't wait to go back. The minute we pulled up to the cabin, I knew we had made the perfect choice. The home was beautiful, inside and out. We had such a sense of privacy with spectacular views from from every room. The porch was one of our favorite places. Our room and bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, as was the kitchen. Everthing we could need was available. The evenings in front of the fireplace were cozy and warm. Flat screen TV's in every room pleased the man in my life! We also enjoyed some friendly games of pool at night. I would not hesitate to recommend Absolutely Wonderful Cabin to future visitors. Thanks to the Jenders for having such a wonderful vacation home and allowing others to share their special place.

I was at the cabin this past weekend and I was completely taken by its charm. It is a cabin, but with all the modern conveniences, including both a pool table and a hot tub. I loved that it was secluded, and had a wonderful view of the mountains. Yet it was close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We walked through Gatlinburg on Saturday, and then went to the Apple Barn for a late lunch. It was fantastic! We drove through some of the back roads doing some sightseeing, then headed back to the cabin for a glass of wine while we sat out on the wrap-around porch. It was a lovely day - and a great weekend. We will definitely be heading back!

My family and I just spent 4 relaxing and fun filled days at "Absolutely Wonderful". It had everything we needed, and was very spacious and accomodating. Linda was easy to work with, and we are so happy she shared her home away from home with us. Thanks!

Our stay was just that "Absolutely Wonderful"!! Beautiful view, cabin was very clean and well stocked with amenities. Linda was extremely great to deal with. There was no reason to need to contact her after we arrived, but prior to that, Linda was always available for any questions we may have had. There were two families consisting of seven people and we had more than enough space and the cabin was well stocked with entertainment for everyone. Not too close to town, but close enough to access anything you might want to do. The view sitting outside in the morning or late evening was breathtaking and relaxing. During our short stay, the leaves began changing and it was beautiful! A much needed get-away for both families. Thank you for sharing the cabin with our families and we look forward to going back soon. May God bless you always.

The cabin is exactly as described and pictured in the website. It was the perfect location for a three generation family getaway. The cabin is in a remote location (with a beautiful mountain view) just a few minutes from the Pigeon Forge "main drag" at the "Dollywood light". It is convenient to activies in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is in excellent condition, very clean and feels like home. Linda is extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend this cabin for your stay in the Gatlinburg area.

This cabin is the best! My husband & I spent 4 days and 3 nights in this cabin along with our son, his wife and 3 sons. From the moment we entered the cabin, we all agreed it was as if we were coming home~the warmth & comfort of the cabin was all we had hoped for and more, all we needed were our clothes & food~from the fully equipped kitchen to the large collection of movies, books & games for all ages! The cabin is very secluded, but yet such a short drive to many attractions. While we enjoyed the comfort of the cabin, we did venture out to eat at the Mill & The Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge, both of which I highly recommend! Snow tubing in Gatlinburg, the shops of course, The Comedy Barn & Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge are all family oriented & well worth the visit! Linda was great to work with in making sure that all of our needs were met, & I feel as if I have known her all of my life! I definitely will return to this cabin & highly recommend it to any family of all ages!

Linda, Just wanted to say we had a wonderful family vacation at your lovely cabin. The location was perfect, the view stunning, and the layout of the cabin perfectly suited our family demographics. We took the master, our son, daughter-in-law, and our one year old grandson had the “nap allowing” privacy of the lower level while the girls, ages 5 and 8 commanded the “girls suite” upstairs. Our time together was made better because of the cabin, and we look forward to future stays.

Absolutely Wonderful was all that. During our week at Pigeon Forge we passed dozens of cabins we had looked at online and thanked our lucky stars we chose Absolutely Wonderful. This cabin has incredible views, and most of all privacy. So many places look right at another cabin, but not this one. We had a big family and there was room and privacy for everyone. We would (and will) do it again and we would not consider staying anywhere else. Pumphrey/Foote Family July 2010

We are enthusiastic vrbo renters and have stayed at several properties in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge over the years. We found this cabin to be exactly as advertised and thought the location was perfect: out of town, but covenient. The view is also one of the best we've encountered. Linda was great to work with and just what you hope for: an owner who treats you as she would hope to be treated if she were the renter. We would recommend this cabin without reservation.

The cabin is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. No other way to describe it. There is everything you need to stay a day or a month, except for food and personal items. The existing personal items were appreciated as they were needed immediately until we unpacked. The christmas decor was such a great surprise. My family loves christmas and we could have stayed the entire month. The video games, boad games, pool table and air hockey kept my adult kids busy and my 3 year old grandson played a few of the video games, but were only pacified for a few minutes. My 18 month old grandson kept us busy showing him all the bear decor and looking out the windows for a real bear. I don't know what he would have done if there had really been one. Ages of family there was 8 months to 70 years and there was place for everyone to enjoy themselves whether reading a book, playing pool, cuddling by the fire and chatting to napping on the very comfortable beds. We had a great time. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

We have been coming to the mountains for several years and this was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. No matter where you were in the cabin, you had the most amazing views. The trees were in full color and were just breath taking. We had 3 teenage girls and 4 adults and had plenty of room. The girls enjoyed all the games and even though they are teenagers, they still enjoyed the Disney movies. They had a floor all to themselves. And we enjoyed the ballgames (especially the Alabama game). ROLL TIDE. We would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone. The weather was so cold, yet we were so comfortable. The pictures are just exactly what you get only more beautiful. The roads are a little tricky but by the time we left, we had them fully under control!!! Thanks, Linda, for a time we will always cherish. Your cabin is the best. We never got to turn on the logs, but that's OK, we could burn gas logs when we got home. We will definitely return to this wonderful, comfortable, amazing, cabin. Wish we had one just like it!!!

Comment Text: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Absolutely Wonderful. The nights were beautiful, the scenery majestic. The cabin is wonderfully isolated and offers a wonderful view of the Smokys. I loved the fact that the cabin is minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but it was the peace and serenity of the mountains that will keep bringing me back to Absolutely Wonderful.

Absolutly Wonderful is a delight. And, you couldn't ask for anyone more interested in your having a good time than Linda. She is both professional and friendly throughout the rental process. Now, on to the good stuff. What you see on the website is what you get. There are no surprises. The view really is as lovely as the pictures show. The cabin is just as friendly and open as the site advertises. If you rent often, you will know that advertising often relies on sneaky camera shots and building up a property into something it isn't. Absolutely Wonderful is actually nicer than can be shown on the site. There is only one other cabin anywhere nearby. There is a long stretch of road that is only used by these two cabins. It is very private there. The views are gorgeous. In the morning, the mountains and mist lay spread out before you. At night, there is a tiny sprinkling of lights far, far away. Mountain laurel was in full bloom for our visit -- an extra bonus. The three levels of the cabin were great for our family. We stayed on the main floor. One grown son stayed on the bottom. Another and his new wife were on the top. We moved easily between the three floors -- there is entertainment on each floor. Still, there was plenty of privacy for each of us. The games, DVDs, and other "extras" were much better than the site said. These provided lots of at home entertainment for us. That was a nice touch since the kids didn't have any money. It took what could have been a sterile, cookie cutter cabin to the level of a really fun place to stay. Wi-Fi was super for the kids. They felt connected when they needed to. BTW, there is a small office on the lower floor. It is the perfect place for a bit of uninterrupted work to be done. Not that work will be on your mind much at Absolutely Wonderful. You should try out the Margaritaville mixer. Even if you don't drink margaritas, the texture is amazing. Kids would have a super time with frosty juice. Would I rent this cabin again? You bet. Everyone is still talking about the great time we had -- and it is a month later. A month is an eternity with busy, young adults. We're all excited about making a return trip. BTW, did I mention how exceptional Linda is? She's Absolutely Wonderful herself. Have fun. We did!!!! Cris Milam

We had a wonderful time at the cabin for our family reunion. The ramp and mainfloor bedroom and bath made things easy for my elderly mother to be able to join us. It was so relaxing and the view is stunning. To top it off, there was a full moon and the night view was even better than the daytime one with the moon and Venus in so bright in the sky. It felt as if you could reach out and touch them. Thanks so much for sharing your “little piece of heaven.”

We had a wonderful time at your cabin. It had everything we could possible need and the view was spectacular. Our first night there we didn't want to go into town as storms were on their way in - pizza delivery was great and then watching the storm roll in - it was amazing being right there with the clouds. Your informational book came in handy as my mother needed to see a doctor while we were there and the information we needed was at our fingertips. The movie selection was really great too - we watched Batman Begins in preperation for the new movie coming out - my Mom and I even got to watch a chick flick one night. Thanks for sharing your cabin - we hope to return again. John, Debbie, Adam, Aaron, Louise, Bufford and Jazz

First of all I would like to thank Linda for allowing my me and my family to stay in her home, she is great to work with. The cabin was very clean and well stocked, there wasn't a thing we needed, other than food and clothes. The peace and quiet was truly relaxing as was the georgeous view from the deck. The visit from the grey fox as we ate dinner on the deck one night was an added bonus for all of us especially my 11 year old daughter. Thanks again Linda as we will remember our vacation for a long time and will keep you in mind the next time we stay in the Smokies. The Ogles

Linda was great. We had rented from a rental company before Linda and the quality and price didn't even compare to Absolutely Wonderful. I scoured the internet searching for the perfect cabin that was spacious and had all the amenities I needed for my husband and I as well as our 3 small children, and all at the perfect price This was it! This is a fabulous cabin with spectacular views. There is plenty of comfortable seating on the decks. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with dish wear and appliances. Plenty of seating in the living room and loft. We were able to come home with clean laundry (due to washer and dryer)! I was able to take some beautiful pictures of the smokey mountains from Absolutely Wonderful. We can't wait to come back! Thanks Linda ;)
