Watch spectacular sunrises from two deck levels. You have your own private boardwalk over the dunes - so many times you will have the beach to yourself. Feel the ocean breezes on the screen porch off the master suite. Or... soak in a whirlpool tub in the master bath. The spacious, open floor plan plus a large den with a big-screen TV is ideal for more than one family.
The well-stocked kitchen even has large lobster pots for the seafood you catch on the beach or on one of the island's great fishing piers. A separate sunroom with a large table is sized for family banquets.
Walk in the front door of the Blue Moon Cottage and it will feel like home, with beautiful, comfortable furnishings and decorating.
Sleeping for 6 on the two main upper floors. Sleeping for an additional 4 in 2 queen beds, and an additional 2 in a queen futon are arranged on the lower level with walkout to patio and dunes.
Blue Moon cottage is a beachfront "B" lot, which means you have your own private boardwalk from the back deck directly to the beach and you have ocean views from the living room, dining room and master bedroom.
The beach in front of Blue Moon is wide and wonderful and not too crowded. With soft, white sand and lots of beautiful seashells, it's a great family beach. You'll see dolphins and sea birds up and down the beach and you can surf fish right here.
The grocery store and beach shops are just minutes away. Fresh seafood is available at the local markets just over the bridge in the quaint village of Snead's Ferry--or check out the Shrimp Lady who sets up her cart just a few blocks away. |
