Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Gardens
We vacationed in this very rental when our children were very young. (Youngest was still crawling!) We loved this location because it was close enough to walk (with our heavy loads of port-a-cribs, umbrellas and full days worth of food/drink) and yet was not right behind Gillians Wonderland pier, where your front porch becomes a sea of vacationers walking to/from the rides. But still - being just a few blocks down from Gillians - we could walk - so we never had to drive anywhere. When the owners decided to sell - we were excited to have our own 'piece' of Ocean City!
Wonderful family restaurant with outdoor tables. Offers wide choices on menu...seafood to hamburgers
Boardwalk restaurant - eat breakfast overlooking the ocean...pick up lunch snacks to enjoy on the beach..check out the dinner menu too! RENT BIKES AND SURREYS HERE
Walk to the cafe for your favorite cup of coffee and breakfast muffins...check out their daily menu as well. Sit outside, inside - or get to go - you are only one block from the ocean!

Having grown up with family vacations in Ocean City - we definitely feel as though it is our 'home away from home'. When we first purchased this property, we were excited to have ongoing vacations with our family - in addition to offering a great get away for other families. One that everyone could afford! As ocean city began to grow and develop, we realized we needed to make some changes to our simple beach home, and new hardwood floors, new kitchen, new furniture etc began to develop. Now we really feel as though we can offer families a CLEAN and NEW yet still affordable home away from home. We have been happy to share that this Beach'house' has enjoyed full summer rentals - year after year - with many of our tenants returning again and again. We hope you choose to join us as well!

Every year my girlfriend and I come down with our kids - we try to find a place that is big enough for all of us - but something we can afford! My husband comes down in between his work days. For years I have rented places that I felt I had to clean first before I could stay - and last year - after we prepared a nice big steak dinner for everyone - we had to pass around the ONE steak knife that came with the rental (yes - the rental was advertised for 10 people) After dealing with issue after issue - we couldn't believe it when we came here. SO clean - and spacious and yes - enough silverware for everyone! The fact that it was a block to the beach and still so inexpensive - I think I was nervous. Can't believe I ever stayed anywhere else! See you next year!

This is our fourth return to this rental. We have again and again been thrilled with such a great location - close to everything - and a place neat and clean! Now that we have returned to see the new renovations - we cannot say enough - And the price is perfect too!
