In its area there is the natural reserve "foce del fiume Platani" with its WWF area just next 4 km of sandy and free beaches. A part of its territory is composed also by orange garden and olive trees. The village center is called Piazza Bonsignore (the borgo), with bar, pizzeria, tabacs, restaurants and the Saint Pietro church. In the village you will find also a little food market just 100 m away from the villa. Amenities in Borgo Bonsignore are available only on summer months. In low season just 5 min by car you'll find all kinds of shops.
