Welcome to The Rusty Nail! We have a new 2 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin located in the gated community of Bear Creek Crossing. Named after our wonderful grandmother, "Rusty," the purpose of The Rusty Nail is to help you get away from it all while maintaining all of the comforts of home.
We have 3 TV's that have over 150 channels via DirectTV so that you can have your choice of sports, movies, or whatever you find relaxing. You will also enjoy a private outdoor hot tub with a fantastic mountain view, 8 rocking chairs, gas grill, foosball table, ool table and a stereo with CD player.
The development has an indoor/outdoor pool that is fun for everyone and kid-friendly. There is also a clubhouse that can be rented for events. When you arrive at The Rusty Nail, we will have a book of "Things To Do" waiting for you, which is full of events, activities, shopping, maps, and restaurants in the area. The cabin is decorated with a patriotic theme and for all of you with children, we have provided a crib, high chair and booster seat. We hope that you feel right at home.
The Rusty Nail is located just 3 miles from all the shopping, restaurants and activities that you could ever want. And, Dollywood is only a 10-minute drive away! TRN is privately owned and managed. There is a local property manager on call 24 hours a day in case you need anything. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and worry-free. Welcome to The Rusty Nail! We are glad that you are here!

Jan-March 2012 = $100/night ($600/wk = one night free)
April-May 2012 = $120/night ($720/wk = one night free)
June-Aug 2012 = $175/night
Sept-Dec 2012 = $130/night ($780/wk = one night free)
4 night minimum for July 4 ($200/night), Thanksgiving and New Years Eve
$65 cleaning fee and 12.75% tax to be added to total

Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge
I chose to buy The Rusty Nail because not only is it in a gated (safe!) community with a community pool, but it's about as close to the Tanger Outlet Mall as you can get (5 minutes). I'm no stranger to the outlet mall! Banana Republic will never go out of business as long as I own the cabin! (My poor credit cards...)

I personally know the owner of the cabin directly next door to mine. His is also a 2-bedroom, so if you ever have a big group, just let me know and we'll get you set up next door to each other!

Hi! My name is Brooke and I have owned The Rusty Nail since 2007. I named the cabin after my awesome grandmother, Rusty, and try to take her there as often as I can. She's 90 now, but going strong! I live in Charlotte, NC and own an online-magazine for women.
I typically go to The Rusty Nail with my family, who lives in Kentucky, because it's right, smack in the middle! My two young nephews tend to spend their time either racing around the deck, climbing the hill across the street, or playing each other at foosball! Me...I prefer a glass of red wine in the hot tub!
I would love to have you stay and have a wonderfully relaxing vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at The Rusty Nail. Brooke, the owner, is great at communicating with you. The directions are right on. You will not get GPS service so don't forget your directions. Cabin is nice and roomy. However, I agree with a previous guest, the kitchen needs more dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. We will be back again. Loved it!

We spent a week in the Pigeon Forge area and had a great time at the Rusty Nail. The cabin is in great condition and we enjoyed the time there exploring the area. The directions to the cabin were great and the owner was great in communication. The cabin could use a couple nice little touches like a DVD player in the living room, a few more dishes, but the cabin was nice, quiet, and convenient to all the attractions. Thanks for a great week away. We'll be back some time soon!

This was our first time to rent a cabin on vacation, and this is definitely the way to go - far superior to being crammed into a hotel room. The cabin was clean and spacious and so comfortable. The pool table in the loft gave the kids something fun to do so that everyone in the family could have a little relaxing down time after a day of hiking.

This is a wonderful place for a weekend or extended stay vacation! The cabin is VERY well kept and updated so that you can get away from it all, but still be connected. The cabin is at the perfect position located at the very top of the hill making the scenery from the cabin and outdoor hottub spectacular! The cabin is the perfect size for two or to bring your family and friends. It is also located about five minutes from all the restaurants and attractions that Pigeon Forge has to offer and only about a 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg for some awesome skiing! Looking forward to the next time I'm in Pigeon Forge and staying at the Rusty Nail :)

We had a blast. The cabin was clean and decorated for Christmas. On our last day we woke up to snow which was very pretty. We loved playing pool and enjoy the views from the deck and the hot tub. We will be returning to the Rusty Nail soon!

We had a great time in the mountains. This was the first vacation that my family has been on since we had our daughter that is now two years old. We absolutely loved the cabin and everything that it had to offer. The location of the cabin was great it didn’t take us long to get out to the main street. We would love to come back for a week so that we have more time to relax. We will definitely recommend The Rusty Nail to all our friends and family.
