BEACH SERVICE is available. This service includes two chairs and an umbrella on the beach.
This lovely unit is the most beautiful relaxing environment you will experience. Care has been taken to harmonize every color, furnishing, and all accessories. Relax in the oversize couch, while recessed lights set the mood for the evening. The King Master is a great private hideaway with its own entertainment center and private bath. The Master Bath features a large two person tub, a large walk-in ceramic shower. The dressing area features double sinks.
The Second Bedroom features a large Queen bed with private closet and private bath, also featuring an interesting semicircular full ceramic shower. The Bunk room is a neat addition - hidden away in a special area all to itself, NOT JUST a bunk along a hallway. The kids will enjoy this private hideaway.
You'll love the INCREDIBLY HUGE kitchen. The breakfast bar has 4 stools so that whether you desire to sit at the dining area or the breakfast area, there is a place for all to dine.
The floating lazy river is truly unique to Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. The only Beach and Bay Resort on the Florida Panhandle. There is a zero entry pool that leads to the river, where even the smallest of children can frolic and play. Surrounding the lazy river, are 2 large spas placed amid the tropical palms, as well as a waterfall pool (heated in the winter).
On the Gulf side where your condo is located, you overlook the largest pool on the Florida panhandle(5000 sq. ft.) featuring a 10,000 foot pool deck and a sumptuous Hot tub.
And, if all of this is not enough, the kids also have a splash park to entertain themselves, and we haven't even gotten to the beach yet. The beach is just steps away from the pool. Bring your own chair and enjoy and sun and view of the ocean.

Year Purchased: 2004
My husband and I purchased this condominium in 2004 to share with our children and grandchildren. Our grandchildren play for hours on the beach and we never get tired of the beautiful sunsets, sugar white sand and emerald green waters found in Destin, Florida.

Dirty Condo - not what was expected

We stayed there 6/18-25/11, and it was not clean. We waited until 5pm to be allowed in the unit. Cleaning crew arrived at 3:30pm, and said it was a wreck. We should have known not to expect it to be clean with less than 2 hrs to clean. The freezer door was not closed due to a plastic tray in the freezer slipping down and no one catching it. When we got there, the frig was froze up and the temp was going from 41 to 67. I called condo mgmt, and she told me to go buy a cooler & ice to keep my groceries from ruining and they would re-imburse. It was Father's Day weekend, and no one would come out until MON. We spent our 1st two nights worrying with this & hoping our groceries would not spoil. She said she would give me a partial refund due to all the hassle, but she did not do as she has said. She said they had MX work on this frig 2 other times already. Unit is definitely not what was expected. There were peanuts under the 1st bed sheets & under the bed along with candy wrappers. It was a good thing my son with nut allergies did not sleep in that bed. The shower had mildew in it, and the floors were filthy. MX came MON, but by then, the frig had unfroze and was working. I would not recommend this unit. Definitely not how I wanted to spend my vacation.
