Popular area for mushroom hunting in the spring. Lots of wildlife to see. Elk viewing near by. Mackinaw City within 40 minutes, Petoskey 30 minutes away,Gaylord 20 minutes, & Indian River 10 minutes. Lots of room for camping right in the yard. Relax by the campfire at night.
Public boat access less than 1/4 mile away. If you're interested in canoeing or rafting, Henley's rentals are 5 minutes away in downtown Wolverine, on the Sturgeon River. Burt Lake State Park in Indian River has public beach access. Or if you are looking to golf, "Wildwood Lakes" 9 hole course is just off our lake, Indian River Golf club is nearby as well as Black Bear Golf course. You will not be disappointed.
