View of "La Parroquia" from master terrace - San Miguel de Allende Vacation House Casa Tranquiladad is a cozy beautiful traditional Mexican home located in the historic district with excellent views of the famous city center and surrounding country side. Casa Tranquiladad is situated on a main throughfare and is conveniently located near numerous restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, shopping, a language school and 3 1/2 blocks (4-5 minute walk) from the town center (Jardin). The picturesque colonial architecture of San Miguel de Allende and the art culture, music and festivities attract visitors the world over. After a busy day enjoying San Miguel, come home to an inviting living area gas fireplace, boveda brick ceiling and relax by the fire side with a good book. Modern amenities such as Cable TV, DVD, and Internet connection are available. Monday-Saturday arrivals preferred (due to staff availiablity). The dining room has wood beam ceilings, a gas burning fireplace and the local hand-crafted table seats eight. The kitchen is fully equipped for all cooking adventures. A gas dryer and washer are located on the premises. The entrance to the second level patio is lined with lush greenery and the patio is surrounded by potted plants and ambient lighting for a relaxing outdoor evening. The guest bedroom has one double and one twin bed, gas fire place, private bathroom/shower and walk-in closet. The master bedroom is located on the second level and is reached under covered stairway. The Master patio provides stunning views of the city, especially at night when the La Parroquia (central parish church) is illuminated. The Master bedroom has a king size bed, boveda brick ceiling, thermostat controlled gas burning fire place, built-in closet, and private shower/bathroom. Many activities take place within the town center and other activities are located nearby: English library, language & art schools, Cultural events, movies, live theater, several gyms, thermal pools, tennis, golf, horse back riding, hiking, shopping and easy access to near by historic cities of Queretaro and Guanajuato. The home is suitable for children age 9 and up.

Add 4% to the total rental cost (processing fees/state lodging tax)
During Easter, Christmas, and New Years weeks, rates increase 15%.
