Two of the best things about the Gatehouse are its location and staff. Directly on the beach, just a few feet away from the water, the Gatehouse's quiet location is near the middle of Negril's seven mile white sand beach. That means that restaurants, bars, music venues and other activities are all just a short walk away.
Diana found the property and Tony cleared back the bush to make room for the construction of the Gatehouse and has been running it ever since. Joan has been with the Gatehouse for over 12 years and will make sure your rooms are clean and tidy. For an extra fee, she can make meals and even grocery shop for you.
All of Jamaica's finest activities are nearby, including; scuba diving, snorkeling, jetskiing, parasailing, golf, tennis, and of course, simply relaxing.
In the mood for a private party of any size? Ask Tony about his famous Jerk Chicken and Grilled Lobster barbecue parties right on the property next to the bar. **NEW** Tony has just built an outdoor pizza oven, and makes FABULOUS pizza!

Review copied from Tripadvisor: My friends and I just spent our 3rd New Years in Negril and, as usual, loved it!!! We found the Gatehouse villa to be comfortable and clean as always. Both Tony(the caretaker) and Joan(the housecleaner) were extremely nice and accomadating. We think Tony's Hut is the best bar on the beach with its hammocks and dominoes/connect four we never wanted to leave! We also had the beach in front of the property all to ourselves(8 of us) unlike most of the other hotels which were crowded w/ guests due to the limited space in front of their hotel. There are no TV's in the rooms which we never even missed-who spends time in the room when you are staying ON the beach in Negril?? We are already planning for our next trip and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

review posted on Tripadvisor: we just returned from our third stay at gatehouse, its located in the middle of everything. The rooms were clean (Joanie is the best) its very cozy and private. Tony's hut is one of the best bars on the beach. tony is also a fabulous cook, his jerk chicken is some of the best we had. The yard is always kept up and is just so beautiful. the beach located in front of the property is never crowded, If we ever needed anything they did their very best to accommodate us... I recommend it to all my friends

The villa is nice and the beach is just absolutely gorgeous. Tonys bar is the best bar on the seven mile beach...........We hardly left the villa the whole time we were there............I highly recommend gatehouse villa and we can't wait to go back!!!!
