Welcome to Ixchel Beach Hotel Condominiums. The beachfront unit is conveniently located at ground level next to the pool and steps from the sand. And being at the front of the building, we have incredible views. There are no hallways, stairs or elevators to navigate in order to enjoy the infinity pool, white sand beach and turquoise colored Caribbean. We are the exclusive reservationists for this unit, be sure to contact us directly for availability. If you need more space than the 2 bedroom condominium, we rent other units at Ixchel as well as many Villas and Houses on the island.
We have just completed our new kitchen including a full size gas oven with six burners, wood cabinets and drawers, and a granite island with high back bar stools. Cooking at Ixchel is now easy. However if cooking is not part of your vacation, meals can be prepared for you right in the condominium where you can enjoy complete privacy.
With the kids in the pool, you are just an arm's length away. Be sure to bring your ipod and laptop. Listen to your favorite music using the ipod docking station. And e-mail family and friends while sitting on the patio. The best way to end the day and start the evening is to watch the sun perform at sunset. The hightop table and chairs on the oversized patio provide the perfect location to enjoy the show. Remember to make use of the blender for the performance.
Ixchel Beach Hotel Condominiums are the newest luxury condominiums on Playa Norte. The property is operated as a luxury hotel. You will not be disappointed with amenities such as, the bi-lingual concierge, the pool snack bar, pool and beach lounges, umbrellas, and beach towels. Daily maid service and tax are included in your rate.
The island has so much to offer. There are a variety of restaurants from fine dining to authentic Mayan cuisine. There is also an abundance of fresh seafood. Ask us for our personal favorites. From touring the island in your own golf cart to snorkeling and diving at Manchones Reef, you will fall in love with this little island in the Caribbean.

Staying at Ixchel Beach Condos was one of the most wonderful trips we have ever had. It was luxurious, safe, comfortable, beautiful and so easy. Cindy made our stay worry free with all her help through e-mails before the trip and the staff at the Ixchel Beach Hotel were wonderful. We especially enjoyed talking to the concierge, Stephanie and were blessed with a wonderful house keeper, Rosa, who left us incredable animals everymoring made from towels. The beach, food, people, snorkling, music, massage and pinacoladas were all we could have hoped for.

My husband and I started coming to Isla Mujeres about eight years ago. We have had the opportunity to visit the island frequently and have made an effort to stay at a variety of different places. But without a doubt, our favorite place to stay is this condo at Ixcel. The location is fantastic! I think one time I counted the steps from the sliding door of the living room to the beach and it was like 45 steps! The ground level condo has everything you would expect in a high-end condo and much more. The condo is decorated with items from the owner's travels throughout the area, which make it stand out from other condos in the building. I feel like you don't come to Mexico to see the same Target stock photos hanging on the wall. Mexican pottery, artwork and textiles set the tone as soon as you enter the kitchen, dining and living room combination. The granite island is gorgeous and perfect for everyone to gather around for food and cocktails. The living room has comfortable furniture, ample lighting and entertainment area to include a tv and ipod docking station. A full kitchen with all of the amenitities gives you a reason to shop the local markets for fresh produce and perhaps find a fisherman who can deliver today's catch, so you can cook yourself an authentic Mexican meal! The master bedroom is gorgeous - king size bed, night stand with gorgeous ambiant lighting, a nice sized closet with shelves and a safe to store your valuables. The master bathroom is large with an all glass walk-in shower, large vanity and separate toilet for privacy. The second bedroom is also a good size with two twin-sized beds, closet (with another safe.), counter and a small refridgerator. The second bathroom is conveniently placed outside the bedroom, with the shower and toilet in a separate room. Again lending to privacy and for one person to be showering and another can be getting ready with no disruption. This condo is a dream! Patio furniture outside both the master bedroom and living room gives you the choice of where you want to relax and take in Playa Norte (North Beach) with all of it's beauty just waiting for you literally steps away. The Ixcel pool is inviting and lots of fun and a nice way to cool off from the hot, Mexican sun. A great little bar and cafe with tables are set-up pool side and staff wait on you hand and foot! There is no place else like this in Isla Mujeres! Book it today! You won't regret it! Hurry - what are you waiting for?

We have rented both units several times and HIGHLY recommend this condo to others. Love the view of the ocean and also like how everything is so convenient. The staff here also makes you feel like your at home. We will definitely be back soon.

Went to Isla Mujeres in Dec. Had not been there for 15 years. Oh boy it has changed. The beach and water is still great but they now have great resturants and hotels. I found the Ixchel hotel at that time and came back with my wife and 5 year old in February. The hotel was very clean and had modern ammenities(Flat screen TV's and quick internet access). The owner was very knowledgable about the island and helpful recommending resturants for dinner and also making arrangements for airport transfers. Recommend East building (more sun) and ground floor unit was great with a little one easy access to beach and pool. We liked it so much we are going back this winter and bringing another family.

This is our favorite unit to stay in at Ixchel! The owners have pulled out the stops for a wonderfully Latin inspired condo with all of the amenities you could ask for! Steps from the pool, beach and town, you will not be disappointed. The staff at Ixchel is awesome and the food and drink great for breakfast and lunch! The only hesitation I have in writing this review is that more people will book it and it won't be available we want to book!!
