This brand new 4400 square foot well-appointed log home is the perfect family getaway.
Beautifully decorated in an elegantly rustic style, you'll find all the extras you need to enjoy your time away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked for the gourmet cook, there are three televisions and DVD players, a game area, DVD library plus DirectTV with XM satellite radio. And we provide a pack and play crib, booster seats, child safety gates and children's dishware plus plenty of toys and books which means less packing for you!
On the main floor is a spacious master bedroom with vaulted log ceiling and a private bath. Also on the main floor is the great room with two separate sitting areas, the kitchen, a half bathroom and a spacious dining room with a table that seats 12 and an additional sitting area. A deck runs the length of the home on this level and can be accessed from the dining room, hall or master bedroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the other a queen bedroom, both of which share a bathroom.
On the lower level you will find a second family room with a game area and children's play area and second master bedroom with a king bed and private bath. The second lower level bedroom has two twin beds and access to a half bath. Also, there is a second deck on this level with access to the backyard and can be reached from either of the bedrooms and great room.
The home has plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the perfect climate. Relax on one of two spacious decks equipped with comfortable furniture to enjoy the quiet, wooded view. Or descend the staircase into the backyard and lounge around our newly added fire pit...you and your family can roast marshmallows, dine on s'more's or just enjoy the fire.
And all of this is conveniently located with easy access to Cashiers, Highlands, Brevard and an hour from Asheville. As a guest you may utilize all the amenities of the Fairfield Sapphire Valley resort including indoor and outdoor pools, a wonderful Ron Garl designed golf course, tennis, skiing, snow tubing and access to Fairfield Lake and canoeing.
We also have provided binoculars, flashlights and a nice collection of maps and trail guides to assist you in enjoying the area's many wateralls and outstanding hiking trails.
