Our family’s condo is in the first phase of the three phase project, which combined include such amenities as seven different pools (including a lazy river, negative-edge pool, toddler pool, and water slide), gas grills, swim-up outdoor bar, two restaurants, beach palapas (huts), a convenience store, and all the services you would expect from a first-class resort. The Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community also includes a Kids' Club to entertain the little ones, gated security, underground parking, high speed internet/cable TV/digital Cisco phone system, beach towels and lounge chairs provided for poolside enjoyment, front desk/lobby check-in/check-out, and room service upon request. Golfers can reserve a tee time up to five days in advance at the ONLY 18-hole Nicklaus Links golf course in the area.
Your next vacation could be spent in our condo in the Rubi (center) building, which features a two-bedroom floor plan plus family room and kitchen. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed and its own oversized bathroom with tub and shower. The second bedroom features a queen/full bunk bed and adjoining bathroom. There is also a comfortable, pull-out queen-size sleeper sofa in the family room. This is the only two bedroom floor plan in the resort where all three rooms face directly out to the ocean, each having a triple-paned top-to-bottom glass sliding doors leading to a large private patio. The bathrooms include travertine marble finishes and upgraded fixtures, and the kitchen includes a granite countertop and all the latest appliances (including, of course, a blender!). There is even a laundry room with full-sized washer/dryer for your convenience. Furnishings reflect the rich Mexican heritage of the Puerto Penasco area, with a calming color scheme to soothe and relax you as you “get away from it all”.
This is a non-smoking unit and, there are no pets allowed. Payment is made directly to Las Palomas when you check-out with a credit card hold deposit to secure your reservation. Contact us for more details or for information about weekly rental discounts!

The patio is oversized, with seating for 10 or more people, and overlooks the central couryard, which hosts multiple pools, a lazy river ride, and a water slide. Golf tee times can be reserved up to 5 days in advance. Restaurant, convenience store, fitness center, and resort lobby are in the same building. Excellent security, with underground parking for your vehicle.

Why the Owner Chose Las Palomas Resort
Great beach, great weather year-round, warm water (compared to California), and lots to do considering Rocky Point is really a small shrimping village.

All three rooms have a direct ocean view, but for a price of only two rooms with a view.
This is the center of town, where there are many restaurants/bars and the open-air shopping market.
This is a research station located in Los Conchas. They study the local ecology, and have interesting displays and discussions.

Beautifully decorated, well equipped condo with direct ocean view. Complex was clean and well maintained, staff was very friendly. Owner was in close communication during the reservation process with helpful info. Would highly recommend this condo in the future. Puerto Penasco is a unique resort village and is safe despite the news media.

I've stayed in many condos at Las Palomas since it was built, but this passed July 4th was the first time I stayed at Bruce's Rubi 506. The condo is outfitted with a lot of 'little extras' such as a telescope, hammock, extra bed, etc.; that make the holiday much more enjoyable. If you're not familiar with the varied floor plans, make sure you choose a condo like this one where all three ocean-facing rooms open up to the wide and roomy balcony. Rubi is the center building giving you a semetrical view when you look out passed the 7 pools and spot dolphins in the Sea of Cortez. Las Palomas is my family's favorite vacation spot.

Our vacation stay was for 7 days at The Moore Family's resort in August 2008 and it was perfect. The condo had everything we needed and we had an absolutely wonderful time; completely relaxing and perfect. It was one of the best and most relaxing vacations we have had and will not hesitate to recommend their condo or go back in the future! What a lovely and pleasant place to stay and enjoy your time while at Rocky point. Barb and I along with our friends from Denver had the opportunity to rent this condo over the Memorial Day weekend and could not have been more pleased with our selection. Tastefully decorated, spectacular ocean views, and great service all included. Everything from the full length balcony with a marvelous view of the pools and ocean to the top notch staff at Las Palomas will keep us coming back but only if we can get this condo from Bruce. Anything less would be a disappointment. It felt so peaceful and relaxing that we even snuggled up one night on the large hammock and slept outside. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. I would highly recommend contacting Bruce and experience it yourself. I know as for us, WE WILL BE BACK. Thanks Bruce, we truly enjoyed it.

Wow! That's the best way to describe this vaction condo. We had a great time staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a family vaction or couples looking to get away. The condo was very comfortable and decorated very tastefully. The views from the very large deck are awesome. Every room had it's own ocean view and entrance to the deck outside. The pool at Las Palomas is great and the beach was even better. Thanks again we had a great time and it was hard to leave. After speaking to many people at the resort, I told them about VRBO and this rental specifically.

THE CONDO WAS BEAUTIFUL AND WE LOVED IT. HOWEVER JUST A FEW THINGS, THERE WERE NO GARBAGE BAGS IN THE ROOM TO TAKE OUT HE GARBAGE AND NO CONTROLLERS FOR THE PS2 TO USE AS A DVD PLAYER. OTHER THAN THOSE 2 SMALL THINGS IT WAS PERFECT. WE WILL DEFINETELY USE YOU IN THE FUTURE. THANK YOU
Owner response:Unfortunately, our PS2 controller keep disappearing, so we replaced it with a DVD player. Also, we now have a several month's store of all consummables in the Guest of Owner's cabinet above the washer/dryer. Thanks for the nice comments! Bruce
