Biarritz is a charming small coastal town located on the south Atlantic, well known for its great surf! Biarritz is also within a two hour beautiful drive to the Pyrénées Mountains (for skiing & hiking) and a ½ hour drive from the border with Spain.
The apartment is located one and ½ blocks from the beach (Côte des Basques), one house down from a park (with a play ground), three blocks from the daily open market & grocery store and a short walk from the old port and the downtown, with a lot of restaurants, shops, museum and the casino! It is also a short cab drive or bus ride from both the airport and the train station.
This first floor apartment sleep five: There is a front bedroom w/ a queen bed and a view of the ocean; and a back bedroom with bunk beds & a daybed w/ a trundel. There is a fully equiped efficiency kitchen and a small bathroom with a washing machine. The living room includes a dinning area next to the kitchen and a lounging area on the street side, very comfortably furnished and decorated in the local Basque style!
