  We were very happy with this villa. The villa was huge and the pictures are very accurate, as well as the location were excellent. The patio was spacious and the view was great. The beds were wonderful and the people in the other villas super friendly. We were surprised to have maid service, but would have liked personal access to the washer and dryer and the ice maker did not work. The pool area was nice, but could have used a few more chairs. I would recommend it to anyone.

  Our 13 day stay at Oasis del Carib was great fun and the accommodations were depicted accurately in the photos. The layout and quality of the "Villa" as well as the location were excellent. I gave it a 4 star rating because it still could be better. The kitchen appliances were good, although the ice maker did not work. However, the pots, pans, eating utensils, storage and cooking bowls, and cooking utensils were lacking. We had only 8 spoons with one being a large serving spoon, one a sugar spoon, and one a baby spoon. ???. There was not a potato peeler and only one large chopping knife and 6 steak knives. We wanted a nice kitchen because we wanted to do some of our own cooking. We had to be creative and borrowed from neighboring apartments. There was no barbecue on the property and again we borrowed from neighbors. The other issue of a lousy door lock was addressed while we were there, but the entry door would not stay shut and the door to the balcony was problematic. Only four chairs on the balcony made it impossible for the six of us to sit outside together. Having a maid service every other day was wonderful. Having access to the washer and dryer on our own would have been nice since keeping towels dry was difficult. Evidently it is not a no-smoking unit or hasn't been in the past. The smoke smell was not too bad, but everyone noticed how badly their clothes smelled when we got home. The pool area was a great addition to our vacation, but can be noisy until after 10PM with kids playing in the pool. If you have mold issues, note that there was an area of mold around an obvious water leak in the kitchen ceiling. Bottom line: this place is very good, but with a little more care and investment, could be excellent! Enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to friends and family with the above critiques. Great local stores and restaurants: the Chinese place behind the complex for fries and chicken, the K-mart grocery store, Patojo's dive shop, Elvie's curried shrimp, the Reef for seafood, Belican beer, local fruit stands, the Greenhouse grocery for green veggies, the Middle Eastern rotisserie chicken about 3 blocks away, and the wine shop on the other side of the airport. Try Kakaw a local Belizean chocolate and Marie Sharp's habenero sauce.

  We just got back from our 3rd trip to Belize and this property was just wonderful. Great neighbors, gorgeous views and lovely interior. Only positive things to say. Location was excellent too.

  My husband and I along with members of our family totally enjoyed our stay at the Oasis del Caribe. Having the pool open for the family was great, and we were able to walk to the shops, restaurants and the boats to go where we wanted. While in San Pedro, we went snorkeling, the 6 & 11 year olds totally enjoyed themselves along with the grownups. We will certainly consider this place when we are in San Pedro again. Everyone was comfortable and we did not feel crowded......thanks a lot.

  Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at this beautiful condo in March, 2011, and absolutely loved it! The space is large, modern, beautifully decorated & luxurious. The bathrooms are spectacular, as is the kitchen. After spending 5 nights in the Cayo district, it was great to stay somewhere so modern. The view from the condo & it's deck is gorgeous, and the pool very nice too. We loved the location! A 10 minute stroll down the beach to the center of town. Restaurants & dive/snorkel boats close by, but far enough that we weren't in the middle of the bar scene. And our kids could go get their daily ice cream on their own. We walked to a wonderful bakery each morning for breakfast, 1/2 block away. We would love to stay here again & again!!

  My family and I had a fantastic time in San Pedro. Your villa was everything I expected. It is so spacious and the location was perfect! We enjoyed the pool daily. Everyone on the island was so accommodating! Thanks for such a great value , we hope to return in the future.

  We spent a fabulous week on Ambergris Key in this beautiful, spacious, comfortable condominium. Javier, the property manager was extremely attentive and accomodating. Leo, the grounds manager was a delight to visit with and full of local lore. The location was convenient for reaching all areas of the island on foot or by golfcart. I think this was our first of many trips to Belize. We hated to leave!

  My family and two other families stayed in this spacious, beautifully decorated villa for four days. My favorite area was the kitchen, decorated with custom Italian cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. This made for the perfect area where I could entertain and relax with my friends and family. The other areas were spacious and very comfortable. My next favorite area was the view of the beach. The sunrises were gorgeous and lit up the ocean. I know anyone considering vacationing at this villa will love the interior furnishings, comfort and relaxation. We will be back!
