Creekside Cabin (the top level of this duplex) is new to the vacation rental market and has not been lived in or rented out before 2007. This mountain vacation home is one of a kind. The perfect summer retreat or weekend getaway.

This 1 bed /1 Sofabed / 1 bath cottage sits within a few feet of a bold mountain stream. Creekside Cabin has all the modern conveniences and amenities. From the hot tub on the large covered deck you can hear the roaring creek. There's also a gas grill and a hammock available.

Inside you'll find a Gas log fireplace and a queen size oak sleigh bed, full kitchen, , cable TV, and telephone are all available. Try Creekside Cabin the next time you're near Asheville or traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Nestled at the foot of Mount Pisgah in Candler, NC, this mountain hideaway is the perfect place to get away from it all, but still be near Asheville and Biltmore House.

Creekside Cabin is also relatively near Chimney Rock Park and Hendersonville, south of Asheville. On the other side of the mountain lie Brevard and Pisgah Forest, home of Dupont State Forest, Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, and the historic Cradle of Forestry.

Some of the best scenic hiking trails in the world are just a few minutes away. A short drive up Pisgah Mountain and you're on the world famous Blue Ridge Parkway. The trails and waterfalls of Graveyard Fields, and Devil's Courthouse are also nearby on the parkway. You can go hiking, rock climbing, biking, or exploring. Or pack a picnic basket and have lunch next to a waterfall. Don't forget to bring your camera!

You might also consider horseback riding or a hot air balloon ride over Hominy Valley and our small town of Candler. A hot-air balloon ride will give you a completely different perspective on our beautiful mountain scenery.

  • The photos of the cabin simply don't do it justice. Extremely clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The stream and the hot tub are an unbeatable combination for relaxation. Greg really shines as a thoughtful and considerate host. I assure you that this October's trip was the first of many trips I intend to make to this hideaway.

  • Our family (with two kids) spent 5 days at the Creekside Cabin one week ago and we had a great time. The cabin is very nice and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway -- only 4 miles driving distance and is a gateway to access lots of waterfalls. The surrounding of the cabin is very lovely -- private, quite, yet you can hear the sound of the stream running next to the cabin.

  • We stayed here in May 2008 for a week. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. It's very nicely furnished, modern and plenty of room for two people. The only suggestion is to add some lamps. The location is great-very private and wooded, but convenient to Asheville and the national forests.We enjoyed the many waterfalls in the area. Greg was very accommodating and helpful with things to do. The hot tub was great after hiking all day. We would definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful time!

  • My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Creekside Cabin and had the most wonderful time. We were here the third weekend in October and the cabin and foliage were just gorgeous. The cabin is nestled at the bottom of the Pisgah mountains and is so close to many of the amenities of the area. We especially loved finding all of the waterfalls around the area as well as driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you value quietness and serenity while having all the creature comforts of home, this is definitely the place to be. We found the property to be clean, comfortable, and quite lovely. We will definitely return for future visits.

  • My husband and I recently stayed at the Creekside Cabin in Candler, NC. It is a wonderful place to stay. The cabin is nestled in the center of beautiful tall trees with a fascinating mountain stream in front of the cabin. The sound of the stream is so relaxing as you soak in the large hot tub. The pictures displayed on the web page are exactly what you get, if anything the cabin is more beautiful than the pictures tell you. It is so quiet and peaceful there, yet it is only a short distance to area attractions and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again in the near future.
