Kauhale Makai is a quiet resort, located on the water, surrounding a garden courtyard. Great sandy beach for walking, sunning or fishing, on a shallow bay area of the ocean. The resort also includes pool, jacuzzi, kiddie pool, sauna, laundry facilities and much more, plus barbecues for outdoor grilling. Convenient central location near shops, restaurants, water sports, and all of the attractions of Maui.

Jan 18, 2009 Aloha Ronnie and Bernadette, We just got home this afternoon from our two week vacation in Maui. Your condo #132 at the Kahale Makai was perfect for us in every way. Ground floor with no stairs to climb, easy access to the beach, pool, BBQ's, and our car rental was worth a lot to us. It was comfortable and very well equipped. I would recommend it to anyone who was to who wants to enjoy a peaceful holiday in Maui. We also enjoyed meeting other people from Canada and the U.S. Feel free to use us as a reference. We received this email recently from one of our holiday '08 renters: "We are closing in on the end of our trip, and want you to know we have thoroughly enjoyed the condo. The kids have had a great time. We love being on the first floor outside the pool, and the parking was convenient. I just wish we could figure a way to stay longer! ....
