Quiet, low key yet convenient to shopping, centrally located so you can get to everywhere on the island, and no traffic jams! Plus we love the "real people" feeling of Kihei.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love being on the ground floor on the garden side. Wonderful view of the ocean and West Maui Mountains, plus it is quiet and you can walk directly off the lanai right out to the beach, so it is almost like being in a house.

Best friends and business partners, Ronnie and Bernadette love Maui and decided they want to retire there one day over the rainbow! So they purchased their condo in 2005 and are happy to have friends and guests enjoy it in the meantime. Bernadette handles the email, the decorating, the web and email, and anything to do with design. Ronnie handles the "talking" -- if you would like to have a phone chat, she is your voice. She also is one of the world's greatest bookkeepers, and keeps all the finances, dates, and paperwork flowing and up to date -- i.e. she is the detail person.
Bernadette is a marketing researcher in the computer industry and travels extensively on business (and loves to land on Maui to decompress!) Ronnie owns a small business caring for pets -- a 24x7 365 business it seems -- and she too loves Maui to decompress and because her phone stops ringing!

Been coming to Hawaii for 28 years and had an absolutely wonderful time and stay at the condo in Kihei! The property is about as perfect as it can be. The location on S. Kihei road made it very easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The reserved spot #150 is a perfect walk right to the door. The corner location is very quiet but easy access to any spot on the property. Your management group and cleaning people are wonderful as well. The Condo is very spacious and comfortable. Also loved the central air (had Kona winds most of the week) so it was extremely comfortable and because of the A/C the linens and such didn't have that damp tacky feeling! The kitchen is very well stocked and so easy to use. The tile floors keep the place clean and free of dust and dampness. The room darkening curtains in the master are fantastic and the overall décor is very nice! It was great to have the dedicated Wifi. The range extended out to the Lanai so you could use your computer, I-pad, or phone outside. The west facing exposure gave us the opportunity to get some great sunsets as well as a nice view toward the ocean. The exposure also insured that the condo was cool since it was not in the direct afternoon sun, but still got plenty of natural light throughout the day. We were only there 5 nights but those 5 nights were most relaxing and delightful. Both my wife and I have agreed that when we do decide to be on Maui we will go with you as our very first choice for our place to stay!

We visited Kihei this summer and stayed at this condo. It was in a great location close to stores and eating places.The condo was clean and had everything we needed including beach chairs and umbrella. The ground floor was great, we were right next to the pool and grills and got plenty of good use from them all. The sunsets and scenary off our Lanai were breath taking every night... The evening breeze was amazing. I would recommend this condo to any one looking for a perfect place to stay with out spending a fortune. Be sure to visit Lahaina to see a perfect sunset... The rode to Hana is an experience.... The flowers in July were amazing as well.

I love the ground floor, I loved the decor, I loved the people from Bernadette and Ronnie to the lady at the front desk. I loved the view from the master bedroom and the livingroom, I loved the close access to the Grills, I loved the easy access to the pools and hot tub. I loved the people I met at the condo complex, they were all so nice. The condo was very clean and well kept. There was plenty of pillows, blankets and beds for our family of 6. I loved the closeness of all the stores we needed.

Jan 18, 2009 Aloha Ronnie and Bernadette, We just got home this afternoon from our two week vacation in Maui. Your condo #132 at the Kahale Makai was perfect for us in every way. Ground floor with no stairs to climb, easy access to the beach, pool, BBQ's, and our car rental was worth a lot to us. It was comfortable and very well equipped. I would recommend it to anyone who was to who wants to enjoy a peaceful holiday in Maui. We also enjoyed meeting other people from Canada and the U.S. Feel free to use us as a reference. We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable unit with a view of the palms and the sea. It was equipped with just about anything you needed. What was most impressive was how quiet it was in the evening, we didn't hear a sound from any of our neighbors. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommended!

We received this email recently from one of our holiday '08 renters: "We are closing in on the end of our trip, and want you to know we have thoroughly enjoyed the condo. The kids have had a great time. We love being on the first floor outside the pool, and the parking was convenient. I just wish we could figure a way to stay longer! .... Tomorrow we take surfing lessons, do a luau, and then leave Saturday. It was a pleasure to get to know you through the use of the condo, and we do hope we may be able to return someday."
