These brand-new cabins are located within the gates of Yosemite National Park in the tiny community of Foresta. It is hard to believe that just ten minutes from Yosemite Valley, such a quaint quiet place exists.
These cabins are very private. Even though the Lupin and Sage cabins are right next to each other, they are oriented differently to maintain maximum privacy.
Each cabin has a 17-foot-tall wood beam ceiling and lots of windows to take advantage of the beautiful views of the top of El Capitan and the surrounding mountains.
Each cabin has its own private patio,with Barbecue. A master bedroom with a comfy king-size bed and down comforter. They also have a full bath,full kitchen,and reading loft.
Relax in the outdoor spa at sunset after a hike in Yosemite or right out your door. There are fantastic hiking and running trails with wildflowers, waterfalls and wildlife right in Foresta. There is plenty of outside seating for both cabins in the communal spa area.
The sage and Lupine cabins are available for nightly rental and are just eight miles from Yosemite Valley. They have all the amenities: TV, telephone, DVD and full kitchen, microwave, coffee grinder, and coffee maker. The cabins are heated in the winter by a propane(wood-looking) stove and have air conditioning for your summer comfort. All you need to bring is food, beverages and a good time.

The hilltop Cabins are only 7 miles from the Valley floor, the closest privately owned houses in the park.
There are waterfalls great hiking and lots of wildlife right by the cabins.
There is also lots of peace and quiet at the cabins.

This was our first trip to Yosemite and we had our 7mo daughter along. This cabin was perfect for our family! We loved the central location within the park and the peace, quiet, and seclusion that Foresta offers. The cabin has all the comforts of home and was exceptionally clean, which we appreciated having a crawler! The hot tub felt wonderful after a long day of hiking. Plus there is a waterfall a short walk away that you will have all to yourself. I definitely recommend this cabin to a small family or rent both for a larger group. Thanks for making our first family vacation so wonderful!

We stayed in the sage cabin during Thanksgiving week. Two adults and two kids. The king size bed was incredibly comfy. The kids loved the loft! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and reading books, making a snow man and of course exploring Yosemite. The kitchen has all the basics. There are two cabins on the same property. This would be a great place to go with two families but also don't eliminate it if you are going to just rent one cabin and sharing the same property as the cabins are back side to back side and give a lot of privacy. It took us less than 15 minutes to get into yosemite valley in icy conditions. We will definitely be coming back! Foresta is as close as you can get to Yosemite without paying the inflated rates of old hotels in the park. Plus the cabins have kitchens so you can save quite a bit of $ by cooking inside. Thanks Sue for all your hospitality. You were so very gracious and took extra care with all the snow.
