Why the Owner Chose Nosara
We discovered Playa Guiones and Nosara after many visits to destinations in Costa Rica across the seasons. Within the first few moments, we found an expansive pristine beach with frigate birds flying overhead. It became a place to return to many times and one that we are sure you will find very special. Playa Guiones has 7 kilometers of beautiful light sand beach fringed by jungle vegetation, a perfect place for beachcombing, jogging, surfing and watching the sunsets. Casa Marisol is our new adventure and we are hoping to share this special place with you. A few moments from the beach access and village locations, Casa Marisol has the feeling of a tranquil tropical oasis.

The first couple of hundred meters of this beach are part of the Ostional Wildlife Refuge, while the beach area itself has received a ‘Bandera Azul’ or Blue Flag of Ecology for being among the most clean, pristine and ecologically well-maintained beaches in the world.

We have visited Nosara many times and this house is by far the nicest we stayed in. My favorite part of the house is the privacy the pool area affords since the house is set up off the road. From the lounge chairs you can watch people coming and going to the beach or yoga institute. You feel connected to the scene without being on top of it. We walked to beach daily and it took about 5 minutes or so. Monkeys came in the morning and it was fun watching them. Jason,the gardener came everyday and keeps the pool sparkling clean. I would rent this house again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We had a terrific stay in this wonderful Nosara home. We walked to the beach each morning with our boards and each late afternoon to catch the afternoon surf. Monkeys overhead lend excitement to the scene while you lounge on the great deck or float in the pool. Although we didn't use the Yoga Institute, I understand it is close by as well. Great hosts a couple doors away. We would highly recommend this spot in Nosara! Enjoy and remember...Pura Vida!

My husband and I stayed here last summer. Loved the house! It was beautiful and clean. The pool was great, just a short walk to the beach. We would wake to monkeys climbing through the trees - awesome! Fritz cooked us a few meals - they were excellent, with leftovers for lunch. I wanted to bring home some of his awesome BBQ sauce. We walked just about everywhere from the house. We would definately recommend it to others. Thanks, Fritz!
