Come visit the island of Curacao and all it's wonders. We have great diving, snorkeling, and ocean kayaking from the beach right behind the house and there is a full service dive shop (Ocean Encounters West) just a short walk down the road. We are located at the west end of the island, out in the country. There have been over 45 species of birds (out of 160) spotted from the house. Daily you will see herds of goats and flocks of Parakeets in the neighborhood.
This apartment is quite spacious with 1,800 square feet and views of both the mountains and the ocean, fishing boats and sunsets.
Not much out here but nature's beauty; rolling green hills and an azure blue sea. Enjoy the sunset every night and then an abundance of stars without any city lights to diminish their brightness. We have kayaks, and mountain bikes along with dive lockers and a rinse tank. We can also supply you with your air tanks for shore dives. We will be glad to escort you on any excursions including superb shore diving, snorkeling, mountain bike rides or even tours of town or the island. David has created a few challenging MTB trails along the North coast. Christoffel National Park is just a 5 minute drive away as well as many of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The capital of Willemstad is a 40 minute drive away with excellent shopping, restaurants, colorful Dutch style building and casinos galore. There is something for everyone on Curacao from golf to ostrich rides.
Our upstairs apartment is furnished with high quality American bedding and linens with a view of both the mountains and the ocean. We have begun to serve lunch and dinner on the terrace on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, but can assist you with other meals if desired.

- Our apartment has all the amenities and conveniences of the expensive hotels with a price for 3 bedrooms that is less than their single units. Here you have the option of eating in and experiencing other dining establishments on the island. Dive lockers, Rinse Tank, Ocean Kayaks, Mountain Bikes, Snorkeling Gear are available. There have been over 40 species of birds spotted from the house.

- Cristoffel National Park, Boca Tabla, the best dive sites, and the best beaches, are all at west end of island. Westpunt is where the locals consider to be in the country, We have recently moved here from the states and have renovated the upstairs into a 3 bedroom vacation rental. It is furnished with high quality American mattresses, pillows, linens & towels. We consider the apartment to be an extension of our home and it is decorated with more artwork and extras than a normal rental. There is a variety of size glassware and dishes. We have books, cds, games, & toys. Chances are if there is something you need that is not in the apartment that we will have it downstairs for you to use. We hope to make your stay as comfortable as we can.

This place is a real gem. It's the top floor of a house with a fantastic view of the ocean. The beds are nice, there's ample storage space, and there's plenty of room to lounge around. The owners, Sunshine and David, couldn't be nicer. They have recommendations to all of the good local restaurants, beaches, and food stores. And they run a top-notch restaurant themselves that's open weekends for lunch and dinner. Perhaps the best thing about this apartment is its location. It's within a ten minute drive of the island's finest beaches, that feature great snorkeling and diving. If you want nightlife, stay somewhere else. There's nothing to do in this part of the island except swim, dive, hike, eat, lay around, and sleep. What more could you want?

David and Sunshine have a wonderful apartment overlooking the ocean and could not be more helpful or accommodating hosts. The apartment makes for an enjoyable place to relax after a spending a day in the sun. They have a wide selection of snorkeling gear, kayaks, guidebooks, coolers, and other things for fun stay. We spent a great week going for hikes that started out the front door or within a twenty-minute drive and ended with us watching the sun set over the ocean from its back porch.

David and Sunshine were VERY accommodating! They let us use their mountain bikes and kayaks and even took us on a few amazing dives right by the apartment. We saw the whole Island and Westpunt was by far the most spectacular part of the Island, had the best beaches and diving, and within close proximity to several of the islands attractions.
