Our three bedroom home is situated within the Tanglewood development of Barefoot Resort, one of America's premier golf destinations. This neighbourhood, comprising of luxurious townhouse style homes, offers an air of relaxed yet sophisticated charm and is surrounded by the Greg Norman Course. The comfortable lounge area has a 40" HDTV with DVD and video. The sofa can also serve as an additional queen size bed if required.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite with Jacuzzi style bath and separate walk-in shower.
The second bedroom has two queen size beds and boasts an ensuite bathroom while the third bedroom has one full queen bed and adjacent bathroom. All bedrooms have TV's and Video. There is a small library area in the loft at the top of the stairs with a cosy armchair for those seeking a peaceful moment or two.
WIFI/ internet is also available in the house.
We have recently added a BBQ grill for the convenience of our guests which will complement the enjoyment of the screened porch.
We have a fully screened porch to the rear of the house which overlooks a small lake. The porch is beautifully furnished and has the advantage of a ceiling fan to create a gentle breeze on those warm summer evenings.
The house also has its own integral garage.
Tanglewood has its own pool (approx 100 yards from the door) and there is also the option to use the spectacular free form resort pool at The North Tower.This is the largest pool in the state and also has a gloriously relaxing hot tub.
Barefoot Resort has recently opened a fabulous golf range complete with golf clinic, pro shop, sports bar/ pizza restaurant, a wonderful new addition to the recreational facilities .
Also, close at hand is Barefoot's own new marina with Docksider's bar and grill overlooking the scenic intracoastal waterway.
A free shuttle bus runs a seasonal service to and from the resort's private beach cabana. The cabana has shower, bathrooms and refreshment vending right at the Beach.

The accommodation was excellent and the outlook very pleasant. There were many restaurants to choose from, the shopping was good and there was plenty of evening entertainment. Like beaches? You won`t be disappointed. Then there was the golf-what a choice!

This has been my best golf vacation ever. We played 7 fabulous courses at an average cost of under $35. I will definitely be back and I will stay in this house again. The house itself is a true home away from home - immaculately clean, well equiped and very comfortable. The Tanglewood pool is a two minute walk away, and the marvellous beach is a five minute drive. The nearby restaurants cater for every taste - my personal favourite was the Olive Garden which is just over the Barefoot bridge. The shopping outlets made me wish I had a bigger baggage allowance for the journey home! The owner was very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. I am counting the months until my next visit!

My family and I recently travelled to Myrtle Beach for a fall vacation. Although the journey from upstate New York was long and tiring, it proved well worth the effort. The property was apparently built six years ago, but it could have been finished last month for all the age it was showing. It was clean, tidy, well decorated and well appointed. The three bedrooms easily swallowed up my family of five and our luggage, and the large common areas provided space for everyone to relax in the downtime between beach visits and restaurant trips. The gas BBQ-grill, newly purchased by the owner, was a particular highlight, and gave us many enjoyable evenings. The owner himself was friendly and easy to deal with. He answered questions - about the house and the local area - promptly and in detail. The rates are very reasonable for a property of this quality, and I would throughly recommend it to friends, relatives and complete strangers alike.
