This 2800 square foot retreat features a large cathedral ceiling living room with loft, dining room with extra large captain's table suitable for 10 to dine comfortably , fully equipped country style kitchen with new Bosch 5 burner gas range top and double convection oven, den with Comcast Cable TV and high speed internet access for your wireless or nonwireless laptop/computer, 5 cozy bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Three bedrooms have queen beds, the other two bedrooms have twin beds, and the loft has a full size futon bed. The living room has comfortable seating for eight and includes state of the art stereo/DVD Mp3 hookup as well as a classic upright piano.
This estate boasts a well lit professionally landscaped surroundings with plenty of parking around the large circular paved driveway. The front of the house is anchored by a large palm tree while the backyard and flagstone patio is graciously protected from the sun by an enormous ,sprawling California Valley oak tree. The patio is complete with gas grille, Adirondack and Sky chairs, dining table with chairs and umbrella, Screened gazebo , and outside speakers.
The patio area opens onto a delightful shaded area under the large Valley oak tree. Adjacent to the patio area, there is a small redwood grove complete with a Maine CedarWorks swingset/play structure and rope swing. Off the patio, you can enter into the fenced kidney shaped pool area. This area has Adirondack chairs, recliners, market umbrella and shaded dining area.

Why the Owner Chose Sonoma
My professional life as a dentist brought me to the Sonoma/Napa Valleys 20 years ago. I was fortunate to have purchased this idyllic location in 1995 and raise my two daughters here until it was time for them to attend high school in Marin County. It made sense to move closer to their schools and 3 years ago we made the move to Marin.

I am originally from Massachusetts and moved to California 25 years ago. I am a local dentist (Prosthodontist) and have two offices in the towns of Sonoma and Napa. Most weekends I can be found either skiing, motorcycling, or playing tennis. My east coast roots shine brightly as I am a "die-hard" ice hockey enthusiast.

Chicago Supper Club - I had a dream of drinking all the rum Napa and Sonoma had to offer and to my surprise all I found was wine. While our groupwas disappointed we proceeded to try to drink the so called vino and enjoyed the supple flavors the local grapes had to offer. Unfortunately for the next house guests, we successfully drank all of the wine in napa and sonoma and there is no more left! Your home is lovely ... The End
