We rented with property with a group of friends. We decided to do this instead of renting hotel rooms so we could really enjoy spending time together, and not rely on others to cook for us as we all enjoy cooking. The home had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities of a hotel, including a pool and hot tub, except it was all ours! The owner was very helpful in making sure we were comfortable. If you want your own mini resort for a quiet getaway, and a great place to relax with friends or family, this is the place!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Chicago Supper Club - I had a dream of drinking all the rum Napa and Sonoma had to offer and to my surprise all I found was wine. While our groupwas disappointed we proceeded to try to drink the so called vino and enjoyed the supple flavors the local grapes had to offer. Unfortunately for the next house guests, we successfully drank all of the wine in napa and sonoma and there is no more left! Your home is lovely ... The End

Had a wonderful time for the Reeds 50th anniversary. Found many great wineries! Our 5 year old loved the swing set and enjoyed seeing wild deer and woodpeckers. Wish we had more time to enjoy the pool and spa. Would love to come back again! Part of the family came from the Republic of Congo to enjoy this beautiful house! Theirdaughter loved playing with the toys that were left here. Thanks for providing our weary travelors with an instant home.

The home is a little bit more rustic and not quite as luxurious as we had hoped for. A bit too many "personal" items, photos, etc. for us personally. With that said, the grounds are beautiful and private. Plenty of space and great location! The outdoor area and gardens certainly make up for any shortcomings on the interior. The owner is a pleasure to work with.

A beautiful home in a beautiful area. We enjoyed the beautiful patio and the deer who fearlessly munched on the grass across the fence. Te pool and hot tub were special treats for hot and cool times of the day. Surrounded by beautiful artwork, we felt as at home here as we would back in Iowa. What an awesome place for a fun week with our family. What a magical place! Thanks for sharing!

There were several highlights to our weekend of bachorlette baccaralia. Eight women from Chicago were here to celebrate a 40th birthday. Even with some complications getting here we had an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL time full of laughter , friendship and excellent wine tasting. This house was just perfect for us. A girls trip to remember forever. Thank you!

Eleven woman hikers from Monterrey/Carmel area ages 62-82 gathered here to celebrate Elisabeths 80th and Martys 70th. We hiked up Sonoma Mountain in Jack London Park and Bald Mountain in Sugarloaf Ridge Park. Fantastic scenery and wildflowers! We had wonderful meals at Della Santina in Sonoma and Saffron in Glen Ellen and one night ordered pizza from Marys Pizza Shack. The Village market in Glen Ellen has a sumptuous deli. This lovely home was perfect for us, the hot tub most welcome after the hikes and the quiet neighborhood most appreciated. We also enjoyed the wildlife; deer, jack rabbits, wild turkeys,mockingbirds and luke, the friendly weimerreiner from next door.
