Our group of 4-6 spent a month at this condo. We enjoyed the beautiful surroudings and the security of the complex. The day we arrived at the condo we found dust, dirt, unwashed bedding. That was our first impression. The next day we discovered the Wifi did not work. A great deal of our time was spent on the phone with the owner getting us to try this and that. Then with the service provider on hold for long periods of time. Finally we purchaced a router and set it up so by day 10 we had wifi as advertised. We experienced large colonies of ants crawling around the bathroom vanities. The condo sleeps 8, but the living room seats 5, unless you want to use the folding wooden or metal chairs. Just not too comfortable. The worst experience happened on day 20 when we noticed a foul smell in the twin bedroom. we closed off the room and couldn't use it. When the handy man arrived, he said something had gotten into the wall or ceiling and died and all we could do was wait until the smell left. Unfortunately we left before it did. While moving the beds looking for the source, we found someone else's dirty shirt and socks and a camera. The stamped date on the pictures was Dec. 2008. The owner feels that although all these things happened, our physical comfort was met, and because we hoped for some compensation, I am an "unforgiving and inflexible soul." This was the eighth property we have rented through the internet and the first time we have felt that we did not receive full value.Owner response: This woman and her venomous remarks in previous emails and her attempt to ruin my rental business in these comments are the only such experience I have ever had with a renter at this condo. Unfortunately, our cleaning co. screwed up and didn't have the place ready. Some creature probably died in the walls and I responded immediately by sending a repair man out. Ants in the vanity were an unfortunate problem I also addressed by asking tenant to put in fresh ant traps. Ants are a reality in the desert. The WiFi worked the day before they arrived and I addressed it immediately with tenant. Dust under the bed next to the wall was reviewed with cleaning co. Indoor seating for five in the living room never a complaint in four previous years of renting. She complained the couches were uncomfortable and hurt her back. She complained the TV cabinet had to be open to turn on the TV ( untrue). She complained I wasnt there to meet her with my favorite bottle of wine and called our remodeled $330,000 condo a cheap rental. I addressed all the unfortunate problems ASAP, paid her husband $40 to install a new router, and didn't charge her a cleaning fee due to the cleaners mistake. I understand her frustration with all these things happening, but all were beyond my control and responded to quickly. My rental agreement which she signed holds me financially nonresponsible for matters outside of my control. What I wAs responsible for I reimbursed her for. What I wasn't I did not. She was a very difficult person to deal with after she left, insisting I reimburse her for the loss of WiFi for 10 days and a lost third bedroom she wasnt using for another 7-10 days. She wanted $500 back. The people before and after her didn't smell any odors and told me they loved the place and wanted to rent next year. I implore you not to publish this as it is a one and only complaint coming from an unfortunate and non-representative experience at our condo. I apologized over and over to the tenant, but she was unrelenting in her many, petty complaints and demeaning characterization of our place as a cheap rental. Look at the recent review I received from someone who stated at the same place in April. She really is unforgiving soul and has bludgeoned me with emails. I have never experienced anything like this in my four years of renting and hope not to again! Thank you, Mike McMullen

A large group of us stayed for a week in this and another PGA West unit and have to say that this one was the better one! The owner was outrageously professional and easy to work with, the unit was in a quiet part of the course near two pools/hot tubs, the views were excellent and the unit lived like home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family of 8 stayed here and we had a wonderful vacation! The condo is very large, fully furnished and stocked with all amenities you could ever want or need! It is a great location, beautiful golf course and mountain views. 3 Full bedrooms, queen pull out couch, worked great for our whole family! Big fully stocked kitchen, large dining table, nice outside patio with two tables, big BBQ and chaise lounge. We went to the Knott's Soak City with the family one day, the Thursday night street fair in downtown Palm Springs the next night, and just relaxed, played games and swam in one of the many pools available in the complex. There is a grocery store, Costco, Wal-Mart, Target, Ross, Stein Mart, a Mall, all the shopping you could want very close. The owners were so hospitable, taking care of us very well. Really the best condo we have ever rented! Can't recommend enough!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
