New in 2006, A great vacation home in this quiet beach area, overlooking the ocean and perfect for a relaxing vacation and/or for vacationing with family groups or friends. It has 5 suites, all with bathrooms/showers, and includes all linens and towels.
Each floor level of the home has a private entrance. EACH level is complete, self contained, with a full kitchen, dining and living room. Rent one or more of the 3 levels for 2 to 14 persons,
OR, rent the entire Villa for LARGER or family groups . Each comfortable level is “CONDO complete”, with all the comforts of home even to wine glasses. Stone topped custom dining tables seat 6 or more people on each level.
NOTE!! Multiple families and group members, can have complete privacy on their floor level,and yet get together and socialize on any level of this spacious home. A great concept because each floor occupants can march to a different drummer and can be private and independent of occupants of other floors.
TOTAL occupancy can be increased, as there are two additional sofa beds and many hammocks.
Easy access to the beach and tranquil shallow warm Gulf of Mexico. This lovely spacious Villa, has great cross ventilation of sea breezes. Air conditioning on each level.
All linens are included and there is a washer and drier. This 5,500 sq-ft of tiled luxury Villa, with carved Mexican furniture, has FIVE SUITES, each with private bathrooms and hot showers.
There are 3 king or 6 twins, and 2 queen beds plus 2 sofa beds. All rooms have TV and ceiling fans.
The penthouse has panoramic views of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. No city lights to interfere with sparkling stars at night.
The FIRST level has one suite. The SECOND, has three suites plus a sofa bed. The PENTHOUSE has one suite and a sofa bed.
There are 5 separate terraces equipped for relaxing in hammocks, with BBQ's and patio furniture.
This beach Home/Villa is 26 miles North of Merida International Airport (MID) and 7 miles East of the port town of Progreso and super markets.

RENTAL RATES are inclusive of all fees and utilities, excepting a $50 cleaning fee/ floor level, deductible from the $300 Security Deposit.
BOOKING deposit is 50% of the rental. The remainder, plus the $300 Security Deposit, is due 60 days before arrival.
The Villa is self catering, with an on-site house keeper 24/7. Cook available for additional $30 per day, upon request.
Moderate temperatures all year, make Chicxulub an all year round destination for Canadians and visitors facing cold winter months. Here, "winter" temperatures are 62F to 78F, with sunny days to walk the beach.
Progreso is a larger town, seven miles west of Chicxulub, with two supermarkets, stores, shopping, Internet cafe's, plenty of restaurants that can provide food and drink service to covered tables on the beach, colorful street vendors. Cruise ships dock twice a week, attracting local artisans.
Merida City, 20 miles south of Progreso, is an older 1700's colonial town, fine old buildings and boulevards lined with colorful flowering trees. A bustling town center with open air markets, malls, museums, shops, plazas, night life and many free cultural activities in plazas and 3 elegant theaters with mostly free events. Buses, every 15 minutes, and taxis from Progreso are cheap. Excellent medical services.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES.
Most of the theater concerts and events are free. Obtain tickets in person at the theaters for all events. Yucatan’s capital city, Merida, has an historic town center, with four theaters, many charming restaurants and outdoor dining. A wonderful Cathedral, the oldest on the American mainland is worth a visit in the main plaza, a place where students congregate at night. Many night clubs and activities, all within a few blocks. The Mayan Museum and a wide variety of places to shop and dine make this wonderful treasure of a city worth a visit.
Folkloric and other dances and concerts take place often and weekly in the main plaza.
The State of Yucatan with many colonial cities, abounds with Mayan architectural ruins, impressive remnants of a once vibrant civilization. Well known Chichen Itza, is a two hour drive, Uxmal about one and a half hours. Dizibilchaltum is 20 minutes. All accessible by bus. Cancun is four hours by toll road.
The Mexican Riviera, 4 hours drive to the east, with many attractions, extends 100 miles south of Cancun. Roads are good. Central Plazas are the hub of life in all towns and interesting to observe. The town of Campeche, (2 hrs drive) built by the Spanish, has 6 old forts to explore, built to protect the town from marauding pirates.
Explore also, early and grand Haciendas built in late 1800's, to process and manufacture sisal rope from Henequen cactus plants. Swim and dive in underground Cenotes and caves.
Many local flamingo lagoons along the coast road, where 1000's of pink Flamingos can be seen.

BOOKING DEPOSIT: Half of the total rental is required to secure reservation dates. We will hold your dates for 10 days from an email or verbal reservation. We accept checks. Rental balance plus $300 SECURITY DEPOSIT is due 60 days before arrival.
FLIGHTS to Merida International Airport, from Mexico City takes one and a half hours flight, Miami is two hours, Cancun one hour. Los Angeles is about 6 hours, with a change in Mexico City or Houston, Texas.
