The area is surrounded and abutted by several horse barns and sheep farms. Less than a mile one way leads down to the Sepiessa Land Bank propery at the end of Tiah's Cove Road, where you can hike, fish, swim and kayak.
The other way leads up through the historic district of West Tisbury center. Just a ten minute walk to the historic Alley's General Store for the morning paper, coffee and muffin. A sticker is available for Lambert's Cove beach.
