My husband and I recently stayed at this condo. We were happily surprised by the wonderful views from the large wrap around balcony. The location was great. We could walk to the pools, a restaurant/bar, Coki, and Pineapple Beach. I also wandered upon a great little beach spot at the end of a trail, where I spent the day while my husband was scuba diving. The spacious studio was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The location, view, and property was great. The condo was very private, quiet, and we felt very safe. The grounds were full of trees and plants, and the pools were nice. The staff at the resort were very friendly. Barbara was very helpful and good to talk with. Walked to Coki often. Thank You Barbara!

Rose and I had a fantastic time! The condo was perfect, we loved being able to prepare our meals at home. Rose is a smootie lover so the blender was working 2-3 times a day! The walking certainly takes some getting used to but the scenery certainly took you mind off the walk! We rented from Dependable Car and definately would recommend this to anyone who is eager to explore. Visited Coki Beach, Maegan's Bay, Coral World and Duffy's Love Shack. Snorkeled on St. John at Trunk Bay. The day of the wedding we took the taxi to Frenchmen's Reef and purchased a day pass to the spa for $12. We used the pool and beach for the day and then showered and dress for the wedding in the spa. Worked out great! I was hesitant to drive at night after having drinks at the wedding so the convience of the taxi was well worth the money. We both loved the tranquility of Point Pleasant, and all the staff were so friendly. I think we only saw four other guests the whole week and that was from a distance. I definately would recommend the condo to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway especially if they don't mind a little lower body workout at the same time.Be well, thank you so much for sharing your home! Barbara: We had a wonderful time at the condo! Beautiful views of the ocean and we really enjoyed Fungi's Restaurant. It was warm but we compensated by spending every spare minute inthe water. We bought our groceries at Plaza Extra. It was less expensive and we went there to stock up for our week in St. John, since the food there is even more expensive than St. Thomas. Hello Barbara! Did we enjoy it...Oh my goodness! It was fantastic!! We had the most relaxing and wonderful time ever! It has to be the most beautiful place I've seen. The condo was perfect just the right amount of space. The view was fabulous and Fungi's delicious! We are definitely going to return. I am almost certain we will be in touch with you to book for next year. We rented a vehicle and explored the island and it was breathtaking! I haven't been that relaxed in awhile! Hi Barb, We had a wonderful time in your condo! We took the dollar taxi to Tuttu for shopping (K-mart and Plaza Extra). It is only $1 for that ride. It is $2 to get downtown (we did that too). The pictures of the bird, Iggy and the rainbow were taken off the balcony. The sunrise was from the Terrace pool (yes, we got up early once). And we did the Daydreamer 4 hour Sunday Brunch snorkel, very nice. We snorkeled/swam at Wyndam, Coki, Sugar Beach and Pineapple. We also did a day trip to Cinnamon Bay on St. John by way of taxi's and ferry boat. What a great day that was! We used the exercise room, laundry room, and kayaks a couple times and ate at Fungi's. We also ate Johnnycakes, plantain chips and drank Caribe & Presidente beer. What a great month it was! Thank you so much, Lynn and Rich Reed from Colgate Wi.

We just returned from our trip to St. Thomas. The view from the condo was amazing! I brought back pictures to my coworkers and they couldn't believe their eyes. The location is very convenient also. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I returned from staying at your condo and we couldn't have been more pleased. The location was great the resort nice and secluded. The view was amazing and the beach just the right size. Larger beaches are so close that we enjoyed many while there. The condo was just the right size with everything we needed. Fungi's restaurant is wonderful! We enjoyed walking the nature trails very much. Perfect for two or a family to just kick back and relax! We will return to enjoy your slice of heaven!!

Dear Barbara, We got back home. It is a bit difficult to recover after a vacation. : ) Your apartment is indeed wonderfully situated. The resort staff was very helpful. The views are incredible. Hi Barbara, We had a really nice time. Your condo was very comfortable! We really enjoyed counting the iguanas every day sunning themselves up on the tops of the trees and bushes below our deck. We went over to St. John and snorkeled at Waterlemon Cay. We also took a very nice day sail with a champaign lunch. It was really nice because it was just us and another couple. My favorite dining place was The Blue Moon Cafe at Secret Harbor. We had a wonderful table there right before sunset, so I got some beautiful pictures. There were plenty of nearby beaches that were beautiful for swimming and/or snorkeling. We did take the kayaks out one afternoon, too. It was a very restful break! Thanks! Ann and Tom

Spectacular, mesmerizing views from huge balcony. Condo is spacious, well-kept and clean. And very private. Fungi's was good. Molly Malones in Red hook has good food. Duffy's Love Shack is fun. Ferry to St. John's is cheap and convenient. Enjoyed The Beach Bar there. We used the dollar taxis into Red Hook and paid for regular taxis back. (the dollar taxi only runs in one direction.) Driving is treacherous and parking is scarce. We had the pools at the condo to ourselves for hours at a time. The terrace pool is the nicest and closest to this unit. There were no chairs at the beaches. Sugar beach is small, but pretty. You can wade to the Wyndham's beach from there. Coki is nice IF there aren't a lot of cruise ships in town. Otherwise VERY crowded. Check the schedule in the tourist magazine. The only downside was the steps and hills. Lots of steps and hills.

Barbara, We just returned from a short stay in St. Thomas for a wedding. The rest of the wedding party was at one of the major resorts and we decided to go against the grain by renting your Point Pleasant condo. It was a great move, providing a much more private, unique experience at a fraction of the cost. The staff was friendly and helpful...the entire place had a very personal and down to earth feel. We took sea kayaks, provided by the Resort, down the shoreline of Coki Beach for some of the best snorkeling we've ever done. The short drive to Red Hook allowed time for a ferry trip to St. John, another vacation highlight. Given the chance, we will stay in your condo over a luxury hotel resort any day. Thanks again,

Barbara, Thank you so much. We had a great time on the island. We loved Fungis, Justin and PJ were like brothers by the end of the week. We met alot of nice people, even some from Indy. We traveled around the island, magens bay and traveled by car ferry 3 days to St. John. Absolutely loved Trunk Bay and even more so Cinnamon Bay. We explored to Coral Bay and around. Overall, the place was fantastic. The view was amazing, in the morning I would open the curtains and say WE ARE STILL IN PARADISE :) We were blessed to have found you on vrbo and thankful for 7 days of sunshine, 1 day liquid sunshine. but no bad days. I would like to say we appreciate you for allowing us to stay, and would love to keep you email for future visits. Thank You!

Hello Barbara, I just wanted to send you a quick email letting you know how much we enjoyed renting your condo in St. Thomas. We had a wonderful time and found it difficult to leave. Your condo was in the perfect location and we befriended several worker's from Fungi's and other resort guests during our stay. The views from the balcony were just gorgeous and I often had to be pulled away from my chair out there! All the resort staff were great and extremely helpful. Everything was great!! I would go back tomorrow if I could. We went to St. John, jet skiing, beaching it & the guys went fishing. Had fresh fish one night for dinner & it was great!! My oldest daughter did the British Virgin Island excursion with friends of ours but even after 3 months my youngest daughter didn't get her pass port so we couldn't go. It worked out fine though. We had a great vac!! Snorkelled every day at different beaches, and took car ferry one day to St John. Found music at other bars/resorts most nites. Your condo was where I expected, near the prettiest pool, and wonderful views. Saw sea turtles right from the balcony. I conquered the bugs, didn't leave the area w/o Ultrathon or Ben's 30 on me. Used Coppertone sunscreen with Deet too. So glad we hooded up with you to rent your condo! Point Pleasant is like a luxury treehouse, esp at nite with the lights in the trees winding up the paths. So much better than any huge resort. It is the type of place I dream about. I am still on a vac high and have great pics to add to our special memories. Hope we get to ST again someday!

This lovely condo and the resort were everything we hoped for and more. The condo was very clean, well appointed and comfortable for our family of 4. And the view from the balcony was incredible. Snorkeling and sunning at Sugar Beach was great and very private while Pineapple Beach offered kayaking and beautiful palms for shade. Fungis was our favorite spot for Island food and beverages. When we tired of the sand, a dip in the pool was refreshing, especially after a leisurely stroll on one of the many nature trails. A day sail on the Morningstar charter available right on the property was the highlight of our stay. There was so much to do within Point Pleasant Resort that we had to nudge ourselves to get in the rental car and explore elsewhere on the Island. What a paradise you have -- we'd return in a heartbeat.

Barbara, Our trip was AWESOME! We loved the condo and enjoyed Point Pleasant very much. Even after living there for as long as we did, we were not aware of how great the resort really was. The kids loved hanging out at Pineapple beach and then Fungi's for conch fritters. Barbara, Just wanted to let you know how wonderful our trip was! The view from your balcony was breathtaking! Your condo was everything you said and then some. Thank you for the added information (groceries, beaches, etc.) it came in handy. The location of the property was in the center of it all. Although we did not use any of the pools, they were very well kept. The pool closest to the beach bar had very nice views. We walked to Cokie, Pineapple, & Sugar Beach with no problem. We met many couples from the states that were veterans on USVI travel. They were quick to give suggestions on what we "must see" while there. The local people were very helpful as well. We rented the car and I am glad we did. It gave us the freedom to do as we pleased. If we are able, we want to plan a trip for next year!! Thank you again!
