  This is the best place ever for a family vacation.We have rented this home away from home for the past 3 years and will continue to in years to come. The suite is clean and well equipped and photos do not do justice to how wonderful the backyard is with the pool, hot tub and spectacular views of the lake and the neighboring vineyard. There is also a small basketball court in the backyard which our kids love as well. There are so many things to do in Kelown when visiting but the best part of this place is that you really don't have to leave the property since all things enjoyable are right in your own backyard. Come try it. You won't be disappointed.

  We have stayed at this property twice and look forward to returning again in 2013. The photos do not do justice to the beautiful location adjacent to Quail's Gate Vineyards, with a spectacular view of the lake. The home, yard and pool are all meticulously maintained by the Owners, who are very friendly and helpful while giving guests all the privacy they could want. Although one can happily enjoy the property's pool, hot tub and patio and feel no need to leave for other distractions, there are many activities in the area including many wineries, most of which have excellent restaurants. We have stayed at many VRBO properties over the years and rate this one a 10!

  As soon as you walk through the courtyard gate the view of Okanagan Lake and the mountains that provide the back drop will take your breath away. Your accomadations provide a home away from home, very spacious, clean, overlooking Quails Gate Vineyard. You will not be disappointed. Belleville, On., Canada

  beautiful property, suite is very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. Walkout access to private patio with swimming pool is great on a sunny morning. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location is great for access to the Okanagan valley and the City of Kelowna.

  This was the first time my wife and I had been to Kelowna and we could not have chosen a better property as the facilities and the setting are superb. The description of the property was very accurate and the accomodation was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The pool and hot-tub make the property an extremely attractive proposition to anyone looking for a vacation in this area. The obvious activities/attractions are the local wineries and vinyards but there are many other things to see and do, for example, the Myra Canyon trestles if you are looking to walk or cycle along the former railbed of the Kettle Valley Railway. The views alone are stunning. The Quails Gate and Mission Hills wineries and restaurants should not be missed. Fantastic views, especially from the terrace at Mission Hills. I highly recommend this property.

  The view of the lake was breathtaking and the vineyard next door was great for walking. The amenities were al we could ask for. Unfortunately because of the cool weather we were unable to use the pool but we loved the hot tub. The accommodation was excellent and we felt at home. We used the BBQ on several occasions and found the kitchen to be well equipped with the exception of a teapot. The listing description was very accurate as to the location and the photos represented the property very well. If anything the view was even more spectacular than the photos and the grounds were quite beautiful. Irene was very courteous and friendly. We would certainly recommend this property to our friends and relatives. The location was great in terms of visiting local attractions such as wineries. Peachland is a nice spot to visit and we would recommend C-Lovers for fish and chips. Definitely a 5 star on al accounts.

  Owner response: Oops! teapot located - a new one, hiding in a cupboard, usually on the stove ready to go. This spring has been cool. May should have been sunnier and warmer, although evenings still get cool then. Pool openings in the Okanagan normally occur early to mid June. We try to have ours running and up to temp by June 15.

  Without question this accommodation is the best I have ever experienced in the Kelowna & Central Okanagan Valley. Incredible view, so centrally located to most attractions a vistor wants to experience and the accommodations themselves are so wonderfully equipped with every convenience and are so clean and peaceful. The pictures really do not do The LakeviewontheVineyard justice; for(as my family visiting from South Korea said)" is there anywhere on earth more beautiful! It is like Heaven on Earth!" We enjoyed the short walk to The Mission Hill Estate Winery & Quail's Gate Winery; short drive to the Summerhill Pyramid Winery. We enjoyed Golfing on world class golf courses such as The Harvest Golf Course - easy for newbie's and Gallagher's - a little tougher but equally enjoyable; Hiking on the Kettle Valley Railway Tressles and strolling the gorgeous Water Front Park of Downtown Kelowna. And we did mini day trips to the south Okanagan Valley to Oliver/Osyoos/Naramata & Keremeos - the Fruit Capitals of Canada including Kelowna of course; and a short day trip to the north Okanagan Valley to Vernon. And, of course, we tasted all types of foods from Subway Sandwiches/KVR trek to Pubs like McCullough & Harvest/golfing days to the finer dining of Steaks with trimmings at the Winery's; and numerous other tastey little treat & desserts. Don't forget the wonderful Farmer's Market experience....it's fun to start the day with; then finish it off browsing at Orchard Park Shopping Mall! We had a GREAT time and always looked forward to leisurely relaxing at the Lakeview On The Vineyard in the evenings watching the most gorgeous sunsets. Just to awaken to a lovely cup of coffee on the back patio with a awesome view.....to start afresh another glorious day in a little bit of paradise. We highly recommend this place to absolutely everyone we know that is visiting the Okanagan Valley. And we do not hesitate to revisit it ourselves whenever we go that way. It makes the travel experience even more enjoyable...it is worth every moment you stay, to pay for this classy comfort!
