Maison Caramany is a beautifully restored and furnished house with two sun terraces located in the small and idyllic hilltop village of Caramany (population 150). River swimming, the Mediterranean Sea, Cathar castles, wine touring and Perpignan airport are all less than one hour away. Maison Caramany is ideal for those looking to relax and unwind, but excellently located as a base for activities in area.
Maison Caramany, easy to find because it is on the village square, is built on three levels: On the ground floor you will find the lounge (with double sofa bed) and dining area, kitchen, a Water Closet with wash basin and the Big bedroom (double).
On the first floor you will find the Medium bedroom (double), the Small bedroom(single with extra pull out bed), the bathroom and a small terrace.
On the second floor is the main terrace with beautiful views of the village. Available is a wood table and chairs with parasol and a barbecue.
Maison Caramany is ideal for one or two families or up to three couples.
BOOKING:
A $200 security deposit is required upon booking, plus $100 for each additional week. Twenty-five percent of the total rent due must also be paid at this time. The rental fee must be paid 60 days before the start of your holiday.

GETTING THERE AND AROUND:
-BY AIR: Perpignan airport is the most convenient airport to fly to. Transfer time from this airport to Maison Caramany is 30-40 minutes. Perpignan airport is well served by budget airlines. Ryanair operates daily flights all year round from London Stansted. BmiBaby fly daily all year round from Manchester. Flybe operates daily flights during the summer season only from Birmingham and Southampton. Air France fly daily from Paris Orly.
-FLYING FROM NORTH AMERICA: Easy access by flying into Barcelona (Spain) airport. From Barcelona you can either drive to Caramany (2-2.5hrs) or there are regular, direct train services(2hrs) to Perpignan. At Perpignan train staion you can rent a car using the suggested website below.
Alternatively, you could fly to London and then take a low cost flight(Ryanair) to Perpignan(flight time = 1h50mins) or fly to Paris and take the high speed, direct train (TGV) to Perpignan (5 hours). The drive from Perpignan to Caramany takes appx 30-40mins.
CAR HIRE:
A car is needed if you want to stay at Maison Caramany. The major car rental companies have offices both in Perpignan airport and directly outside its train station. Try Auto-Europe car hire for excellent deals.
