Walking distance to bus, commuter train which take you to Boston/Cambridge and vicinities. You are welcome to bring your own car and park in our private driveway which accomodates 4 cars. You may also walk to town center. This beautiful and quaint New England community offers over a dozen unique (non-chain) restaruants, a major grocery store (super Stop&Shop) and lovely boutique stores.

The house is lovely and well appointed. We stayed over the Christmas holiday, visiting family in Cambridge. We were able to entertain in the large living area and prepare family sized meals in the full service kitchen. The house is on three levels built on a hillside, so the top floor has the main living area, bedrooms on the next level down, and basement recreation room and laundry on the bottom floor. It was fine for our family but be aware that stair climbing is involved to reach all the bedrooms. We had a rental car, which was good because mass transit was not as easily accessible as in other parts of Boston. For a family or large group this is a very comfortable home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
