  This is a gorgeous property with breathtaking views-the pictures don't do it justice! It was well equipped and spacious, and we liked the end of the road location. The owners were easy to work with, and all of the transactions went smoothly. Would love to stay there again! Couldn't have been a better rental or experience.

  I can't say enough good things about this home in Lake Tahoe. Stunning views, clean, all the amenities one needs and more, near shopping and easy access. The owner was very helpful and communication was excellent. No hype here, it is as describes in the description and photos. The only two, very minor, negatives I will point out is at certain times of day the traffic noise from the road below the home gets a bit nosey (true for any house this near the lake) and the hot tube seemed over chlorinated to me. (I don’t own a hot tub so maybe that’s how they all are) We will be going back in the spring for sure!

  The view of the lake was even more beautiful than the great pictures shown here. Definately has the Wow factor that I want when I travel. The home was clean, well stocked, in a perfect location and a great value. The fireplace and hottub were a treat after skiing all day. The owner was very informative, prompt and helpful with all of our many questions. Everything about it was above and beyond our expectations. We can't wait to return and plan to stay here again.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home in the Carnelian Bay area. The home had every amenity we needed for our week stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The most wonderful part for us was the deck and hot tub with the most exquisite view of Lake Tahoe. To wake up to that view everyday and sit out on the deck was glorious! We loved being on the Californis side away from the commercialism. We found some great restaurants and made our way all around the lake by weeks end. We hiked(our favorite was Eagle Falls at Emerald Bay), rented a boat and toured the lake, went hot air ballooning, taking off and landing from the lake! Magnificent! We would highly recommend this home in a beautiful area, on one of the prettiest lakes we have every seen!

  This home is exactly as described. Maybe better. The panoramic views of Lake Tahoe from the huge deck, kitchen, dining room and family room are gorgeous. The house is in excellent shape. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. We spent a week here and hated to leave. Wonderful vacation rental.

  Breathtaking , unobstructed view of the lake! Comfortable lodging with everything you need including wi-fi and cable tv! Kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home, beds were comfortable. Easy parking, great sundeck with the fabulous view! Would stay again and again!

  Wake up in the morning to stunning views! Have breaksfast with stunning views! Sit in the hot-tub - with- stunning views! Sit inside by the fire - stunning views! From almost anywhere in this home you will enjoy a view while you enjoy this great property. We had our parents join us in Tahoe with our two children and family dog. This place was perfect. We put our parents up in the Master Suite upstairs while my family had the two bedrooms downstairs. The kids loved their bedroom, the sleds, and the little bear cub stuffed animals - while the adults enjoyed the hot tub (with disco lights and waterfall options), the fantastic great room with fireplace and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful lake. Good size open kitchen for preparing and serving meals in the dining area and a perfect location in the center of all the nearby ski resorts of North Lake Tahoe. It was a perfect vacation and the only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back!! Thank you so much for a great stay!

  Our family of 4 has rented this home the same week for the past 7 winters, and we are looking forward returning again this year. The house is as great as it looks in the photos. The view is spectacular. But just as important are the qualities of the home that you can't see from the photos. It's in a very quite location, which is very important to us. It is equal distance from Squaw and Northstar, leaving your options for skiing wide open. The owners are great about leaving the home well stock with firewood, having the driveway plowed after heavy snows and the home even has sleds in the garage for the kids to use. One feature of the home that we absolutely loved when our kids were younger (they are 11 & 14 now) is the huge deck right off the living/dining area. The deck is gated at both ends, so after a snowfall we could let the kids play in the snow on the deck for hours while we watched them from the warm comfort of the living room sipping coffee or wine, depending of the time of the day. The owner has been great to rent from, she is very efficient regarding getting you the keys and all information you need before the rental, and returning your security deposit promptly after the rental. My husband and I have probably rented 20 different homes through VRBO over the past 12 years all over California (including several different ones in Tahoe), Hawaii and Mexico and this is one of the nicest ones we've rented. It is the only one we keep returning to.

  We've rented this house every Thanksgiving for the past eight years or so, and we love it! It truly is as lovely as the pictures, with breathtaking views. The house is well furnished and supplied, and very comfortable. The owners have been a delight to work with--very professional and reliable. The reservation process is clear and easy. We always get the keys on a timely basis, and our deposit check is returned very quickly. The owners are available by phone if there are any problems or if you need advice on how to work anything in the home. We've rarely needed to contact them, though, because the house is very well-maintained, with lots of instructions on-site on how to operate the appliances. We've often told our friends that if they ever want to rent a house at Lake Tahoe, we know a wonderful one. It's a perfect place for getting away and enjoying peace and quiet and beautiful views. We had tried several places at Lake Tahoe before we stayed here, and we knew on our first visit that we'd found the place we want to come back to every year.
