Pine Ridge Retreat is a beautiful, custom home set amongst tall pine trees. This tastefully decorated home has all of the comforts and conveniences of your own home. It is a spacious getaway with stunning views. You can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub or barbeque on the gas grill on our large sunny deck. The great room has a vaulted ceiling, a built in gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and dining for twelve. There are three full floors including a separate living area in the den providing plenty of room for everyone to have privacy and relax. Other amenities include a large master shower and a ping pong table.
The retreat is located in the mountains between Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek Pass, in San Juan River Resort, the closest neighborhood to Wolf Creek Ski Area. Many vacation rental properties are on the other side of town and will take you 20-30 minutes longer to drive to the ski area. While other skiers are sitting in traffic you will be skiing the fresh powder! Pine Ridge Retreat is one of the nicest homes available in the area and surpasses the typical vacation rental experience. Escape to the best that Colorado has to offer!

- Large, tiled master shower; great room has a vaulted ceiling and dining space for 13. Two snowsleds provided. Mainfloor of house can be accessed with close parking and by only two steps up the stairs when there is not snow. 4 wheel drive or chains are necessary in the winter. The road and drive are plowed frequently but are often snow packed. A small pond is visible from the deck and is a 5 minute walk away. Children under 15 can fish in the pond and there is a large covered picnic area with tables and grills.

- There are multiple hot springs soaking and spa facilities in the town of Pagosa Springs. "The Springs" is a beautiful, relaxing resort set on the river with multiple soaking pools, a full size swimming pool and a wonderful spa. There are also other mineral hot springs resorts in town including "The Overlook," a smaller, more intimate getaway with rooftop tubs. The surrounding mountain area provides a multitude of outdoor activities as well as the opportunity to view wildlife! A small pond is visible from the deck and is a 5 minute walk away. Children under 15 can fish in the pond and there is a large covered picnic area with tables and grills. The hiking and mountain biking are excellent. There is national forest access with a trail system from the neighborhood!

3 night minimum $275-$375/night .. $1800-$2500/week
Rates are based on the season and may vary. Checks and money orders are preferred.
There is a $200 cleaning fee and $500 damage deposit.
Fall special $275 per night through December 15th.

We custom built our home in 2007. We live in Durango and visit the home several times a year ourselves, all amenities are kept stocked so that when we arrive we have everything that we need. The home is in a peaceful mountain setting and there are a multitude of year round outdoor activities to enjoy right in the back yard.

What a awesome home, everything was great. Our family felt at home and I love how the home was presented to us. It was even better than the pictures, and Stella was truly a great person to work with. Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Winter 2011; nah an Pagosa Springs und nicht weit zum Skigebiet Wolf Creek; die Kommunikation per Internet mit den Vermietern lief reibungslos und sehr einfach. Alles ist bestens organisiert. Ich kann das Haus nur und sehr empfehlen. (PS: Wolf Creek ist uebrigens ganz besonders geeignet auch für Skianfaenger!) We had a great stay; close to Pagosa Springs and close to Wolf Creek Ski Area. Everything around booking and staying was pretty easy. Well organized. I only can recommend this house. (PS: Wolf Creek is also a great area for beginners in skiing!)

We (12 adults/ 2 kids) really enjoyed our time at this property. There was plenty of room for us all to celebrate our parents 50th Anniversary. The hot tub was great for relaxing. The kitchen & dining area was roomy and comfortable for group meals. The bed rooms were just right and the Master Bedroom / Bath was awesome! "I want this house!" my repeated my wife as the furniture mirrored our own. All listed information was spot on. The photos however, don't do the house justice....every room is much larger than the pictures depict. Very clean and inviting upon entering....very well kept property. I would recommend this to everyone especially large groups. We hiked up to some waterfalls, floated the San Juan, soaked in the hot springs in town, and had a great time. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents it self. Thank You Stella! Wes

My family and I stayed here for a ski trip. The house was very nice and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals and plenty of seating. We enjoyed being close to the ski area and soaking in the hot tub. We hope to go again next year.

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July vacation at this cabin. We were able to drive a short distance to Pagosa Springs to get food to prepare in the marvelous open kitchen and barbeque out on the deck. We also enjoyed the mineral springs in Pagosa. The cabin is so beautiful the pictures do not do it full justice. The owner was very professional and easy to work with. This was our first time using VRBO for our vacation accomodations and it was a very pleasant experience. We will definelty stay here again, hopefully during the winter season and be able to have friends join us.

We vacationed at Pine Ridge Retreat with my brother and his family. We loved the hot tub and the views. We enjoyed the big deck and having enough room for everyone at the table. My kids loved the ping pong table. We will definitely stay at the house again.
