Haleiwa village is two a minute drive with a dozen restaurants and weekend dancing. Beginner surfing lessons available from Haleiwa Beach Park. Jet Ski, sail or fish from Haleiwa Harbor.
Waialua is a small sugar mill town two minutes by car, just a mile from the surfing mecca of Haleiwa in one direction and the kite-surfing mecca of Mokuleia in the other. Golf, helicopter rides and horseback riding at Turtle Beach Resort, 15 minutes drive from the house.

I don't think I can think of any negative things to say about Bali-ho because this house exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Before we saw the house in person, the pictures themselves spoke for it but upon arrival it just blew us away. My husband and I rented this home for both our families to stay at and it was just perfect! We got married on the north shore as well as a mini family reunion so this was the perfect location to reside at. It had everything you can imagine as far as the amenities, etc. but especially the beach in our own backyard! It is a well kept property inside and out. The property manager Jill was there to greet us when we first arrived and helped us out with any questions or concerns that we may had. She was very helpful. We would definitely recommend this house to any one who is planning to stay in the north shore and to share it with family or close friends. Thank you Bali-ho! You definitely are amazing!!

The home is a rare gem that combines elegance with comfortable living. Sunshine and tranquility, coupled with the peaceful sound of waves, set the scene for a magical week. The interior of the home is furnished with unique pieces of furniture and artwork making each room a treat to explore. The outdoor living space is amazing. Our group of 7 family members spent our days moving from lounge chairs, to hammocks, to the ocean for a swim. The water was warm and calm and many of us spent hours snorkeling and swimming with the turtles. We only left the house once! Waking up in the morning to palm trees swaying against the backdrop of the crystal blue water was heaven. And to make the experience even better we had the great fortune of working with Jill who made the rental process efficient and enjoyable. Upon our arrival Jill gave us a warm greeting, provided a tour of the house, and graciously answered our questions about the surrounding area. We have rented many vacation homes in the past and this one far exceeded all others. Thank you Jill and Bali-ho. We hope to return in the very near future! this is the most amazing mini resort i have ever seen, snorkeling with the turtles right in front of the house is undescribable! Its in a perfect location you have tons of privacy and the "party" beach etc is only minutes away! i still cant believe i have been where blue crush the movie was made :D i cant wait to go back one day !

Our extended family of 10 stayed in this beautiful home for a week. We loved that we could all be together in one room or retreat to our bedrooms (or hammock) for some quiet time. The large kitchen was absolutely wonderful! Each one of us had our own space to prepare our part of the meal without being in each others way. And the dinning room table accommodated all of us. With 10 of us to feed, we went to the grocery store just about every day. The closest grocery market is in Haleiwa, which is about a 5-10 minute drive from the house. We feel in love with this town! Lots of eating places and shopping. Plan to spend at least a day there. If you are going to Waimea Bay, Sharks Cove or up to Turtle Bay, you will drive through Haleiwa. We will remember this vacation all our lives.

The house is very well equipped for a great relaxing vacation - nice kitchen, lots of room to spread out and recreational gear to enjoy the great beach setting. It housed 8 of us comfortably with each room having its own ensuite. We saw turtles every time we were in the water and even saw whales. Thank you to Rex and Annette
