  Our family of 5 spent our spring break week in this unit. The unit listing was helpful and accurate and the pictures don't do it justice. It was stocked with everything you needed plus more. Nice bedding,towels, extra beach chairs and toys, and awesome pots, pans, dishes, cups and kitchen supplies. The owners were awesome to work with and communication was great. We would highly recommend this unit and mat book it again next year.

  This was my 2nd time staying at the Lighthouse, and my first in this unit. My favorite thing about the Lighthouse is the zero entry pool for the kids. My 5 year old loves it, and I feel very comfortable letting him play without me having to be in the pool. The indoor pool is also great in case in the weather isn't ideal. This condo is exactly as described in the description. It had everything we needed and was the perfect size for 4 adults and 1 kid. You could easily fit more if needed. Very clean, good furnishings, and convenient elevator access too. This was my first time using VRBO. For those that haven't used it before, it was very easy and much more convenient then stopping by for keys/passes. We will definitely consider staying in this unit again on our next trip!

  The condo was beautiful, very comfortable, very accurately described on the website, along with pictures. Great master closet and bathroom. It was also very well stocked as far as dishes, utensils, pots, pans, blankets, pillows, it even had boogie boards and sand toys! The owners were very easy to work with and everything was executed as planned. The condo is also in a great location! I would absolutely recommend this condo to friends and family!

  We were well pleased with our visit to this condo and would recommend it to others. Our extended family had several units rented in the building at the same time and this one had the nicest furnishings and was the most spacious so we used it as our base. We loved hearing the waves as we slept in the comfy beds and waking up to beautiful views of white sand beaches and watching the golden sunset from the balcony. It was nice to have a pantry which we quickly filled up, the TV was big enough for all ages to see, the new carpet in the bedrooms was also nice, and there was always plenty of hot water. We had loads of fun playing on the beach, going on a family scavenger hunt, and visiting the zoo. Best of all it's within walking distance of Sea n Suds. Suggestions for the future, could use more bar stools, cushions for the dining chairs, bathroom floors could be cleaner, and definitely needs new upgraded towels.

  The layout of this condo is great. The kitchen was very well stocked - great dishes, silverware, glassware, etc. The big dining table with 6 chairs was great since we ate in a lot. There were lots of TV's and it was a nice size place. I loved having the tile floors in the main living area because the bedroom carpets were really stained, obviously not taken care of by previous renters. The owner did say the carpet would be replaced soon. The bedspreads in 3rd bedroom looked dirty; in the 2nd bedroom the sheets were very worn and somewhat stained and the pillows were bad. There were tons of beach/sand toys so we didn't have to buy any. The balcony was nice and big although the outdoor furniture was obviously old and weathered. The owner was very pleasant to deal with via email. The Lighthouse is a very nice place with covered parking which is great.

  Owner response: The carpeting and bed linens are scheduled to be replaced in November.

  All: First let me start by saying that our family resides approximately an hour from Gulf Shores and have stayed at multiple condos in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area over the years. That being said, this is the absolute best and well equipped condo we have stayed at. The owners have taken much pride with the accommodations and have thought of all of the little things - everything from multiple throw blankets, lots of beach stuff, current DVDs, and the best equipped kitchen we have seen. The amenties in the condo are first class and well above your typical rental. The owners are very accessible by both phone/email and were very gracious hosts during our stay. Beach access is excellent and the view from the 9th floor is awesome. Two outdoor pools, two outside hot tubs and an indoor pool also gave the family many options in addition to the white sandy beach. All in all, a fantastic rental property! My boys (ages 14 and 11) said this is the ONLY condo we can stay at from now on. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

  My family of 6 ( Husband, Wife, 3 teens and a 10 year old) had a wonderful time in your condo. The place was just as you had stated. The beach was great even though some tar balls came in during our stay...nothing you could have done about that. When the oil was in the gulf we stayed on the beach and then cooled off in the 2 big outdoor pools or the indoor pool. I would certainly recommend your place to my friends.

  Thanks for allowing us to stay in your condo. It is beautiful. We had a girls weekend and everything was great, even the weather cooperated. I hope to come back in June.

  We had a wonderful trip. The view was amazing. The condo had everything that we needed. It was very very nice. We had an easy time getting ready with the 3 bathrooms (there were 5 girls). We thank you a lot!! We hope to come back soon.

  A near perfect vacation! The condo was so perfect & luxurious. Everything that we needed was right here. It made our stay so relaxing and effortless. Loved the powerful blender, the view, the beds etc. I am tempted to stow away in the closet :). We will be back.
