We have a house just down the road from this awesome cabin and when we needed an overflow location this was the perfect spot! The house is on a very quiet street and great neighbors all the way around. Inside the house is incredibly comfortable and cozy and the pickle shack is my favorite spot! We'll be back next year when we'll need overflow accommodations again! Thanks Mary Beth!

This is a wonderful cozy cabin! We liked the separate guest house. Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) stayed in the main house, while the grandma and grandpa slept in the separate guest house. Keywords for this cabin: charm and character, antique-style furnishings, relaxing (we loved the hammock), proximity to the centre of Highlands, well stocked kitchen, good beds and all this at a good price point. The owner provided us with very good suggestions for things to do etc. This is not the type of mountain home with the hot tub on the deck, the pool table in the basement and flat TV screens everywhere. So look further if you need all these things. Otherwise this place is highly recommended!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was so nice to not have to remember every little thing like paper towels, salt and other condiments, baggies, foil, etc. The real wood fireplace was fabulous - easy to use and heats well. We definitely would recommend this place to friends.

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home, great spaces for everyone, my husband just loved the guest cottage for doing his work. We even enjoyed rainy days on the large screened porch. Wonderful yard for children to play and a great neighborhood for all those walks. Five minutes to town for restaurants and shopping made this home a great choice!! Will return again and again. We love this house! It has a wonderful yard for the children, and it has the best fireplace of any rental I know. I almost don't want to go on too much or it will be booked solid, and then how will we escape the Atlanta heat this summer? It's perfect for us.

This house was so warm and cozy! We loved being able to cook, go for long walks up the mountain and relax on the porch and enjoy the quiet. The busy town of Highlands is close by and we enjoyed browsing the shops, but we found we rarely wanted to get in the car to go anywhere! Thanks for all the thoughtful details -- We'll definitely be coming back! Beth and Jim

"We enjoyed our stay over a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The home is cozy and a joy to rent. Our group found it wonderfully comfortable with even the smallest detail taken care of -- from local information to a very well equipped kitchen. There's even a hammock to enjoy the fresh mountain air! My 14 year old stayed in the charming guest cottage and called it 'his bachelor pad'. Highly recommended!!"
