This two bedroom, two bath, beautifully decorated fourth level condominium is located on the quiet south end of Estero Island, also known as Fort Myers Beach. The wide screened lanai, which is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom, overlooks a mangrove preserve, the swimming pool, and has a great view of the magnificent sunsets on the Gulf.
Seven miles of pure white sand, on Florida's most beautiful and safest beach, is just steps away. All conveniences including shopping, restaurants, a medical center, a golf course, two marinas and churches are within a five-minute walk. The beach trolley is 200 feet from your door. Park the car and relax. Its all right here.
Rent a pontoon boat for a day and explore the back bay. Dolphins often accompany you for long stretchs, frequently coming close enough to touch. Continue on toward the bridge and have lunch at one of the many dockside eateries. Hop on the trolley and go south to the Lovers Key recreation area. Experience wonderful fishing for a great variety of fish that can be caught right off the beach. Explore Carl Johnson State Park where you can rent a kayak or walk the trails to see many birds and Florida wildlife in a protected, natural enviornment. Take a ride south to the Everglades for a thrilling airboat ride. Fish literally jump over the boat as you are skimming over the water. Or simply walk 50 feet from our building to the canal and look for Charley, our resident alligator. He frequently suns himself in full sight.
This spacious unit looks brand new and is fully equipped with everything you will need for a truly memorable vacation. The modern split-floor plan offers complete privacy with a bedroom and bath on each end. All rooms, including the lanai, are equipped with ceiling fans. The ground level, under building parking is within a few steps of the secured lobby and elevator.
We supply many books, videos, CD's, DVD's, puzzles and games for your enjoyment. The unit is also equipped with hi-speed broadband internet. We supply you with a key to our locker which contains anything you or your children may need for relaxation and fun at the beach including bocci ball and a cornhole game. Just bring your clothing and your toothbrush. There are no disappointments here. One trip and you will long to return.

Why the Owner Chose Captains Bay South
We love Fort Myers Beach. It is wide, loaded with shells and sand dollars, pure white and beautiful. All amenities including restaurants, beach bars, shopping, a marina, golf, cinemas and churches are within walking distance. Once you arrive, you need not start your car until you depart. A trolley is within 300' that will take you anywhere you need to go that is beyond walking distance.

We stayed again at this property for our 2nd time and we loved it. The condo is so well equipped and clean and pleasant with all the comforts one could want. The owners have added some new features since we were last here (like flat screen T.V's and internet connection). It is truly home away from home. The location is great, within a short walking distance to stores and several very good restaurants AND a gorgeous beach!! The beach is so beautiful--we loved the beach!! and we hope to return again. We would highly recommend this condo without any hesitation.

We have been fortunate to visit FMB every October for a number of years to celebrate life. This was our first time at Captains Bay South, as we were lucky enough to "host" our daughter for 4 days of our 2 week stay and needed the added space. The unit was very comfortable and well equipped. It truely provides a home like setting in all respects. Chuck and Judy were very prompt to respond when "life happens...even on vacation!" It was a pleasure dealing with them, and certainly a pleasure to share their home away from home. My family and I visited this condo in August 2011. The condo was beautiful with all the amentities of home. Chuck gave us wonderful suggestions of activities and restaurants during our stay. We would definately recommend this condo to all of our friends/family and we cannot wait to return for more fun in the sun and visiting the great beaches of Ft. Myers.

The unit was excellently equipped and ready for our beach vacation with all the comforts of home and everything necessary to enjoy the sun and beach. We especially liked the beaches in Bonita to the south. This has been the best value we have had so far and so convenient to everything.

WOW What a great vacation. The condo had everything we needed or wanted. Very roomy and very clean. We were delighted with everything. WOW WOW WOW Living in Wisconsin Dells, we know what tourism is all about!! I must say everyone in Fort Myers Beach were so very friendly!! You guys know how to impress!! The condo was FANTASTIC!! Even better and bigger than the pictures. Everything was perfect!! Everything was so clean , neat, and provided anything we could have possibly needed. The CVS pharmacy, 7-11, a mini mall, and the big beautiful beach all within a 5-10 minute walk!! What more could I say than, this place was perfect!!
