A great place to stay, within walking distance of several good restaurants. The condo has everything you need for your stay, just bring your clothing and toothbrush. The beach is across the street , about a 3 or 4 minute walk. The beach is beautiful, wide and has great white sand. Two beachfront open air bars are within a short walk and quite often have entertainment. I've made arrangements to rent there again next year.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Wonderful Condo

I finally got round to doing a review. This place is amazing. I was on my own and had a great time. The condo is so nice. Lots of room, wifi, tv, DVDs and CDs. Everything you could wish for is there. The pool area is very nice and quiet surrounded by hibiscus. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Beach chairs, umbrella, floats, bucket and spades and a cart to take them to the beach. CVS next door, nice restaurant in Santini Plaza that does wonderful bar meals and dinner. Had lobster on Friday night, really good. Watched fireworks July 4 on the beach. Took the trolley to Publix and Times Square. The owner very nice and even offered to book another week for me as they had the rain there from a hurricane but I still went and the weather was lovely. Best place to stay.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed again at this property for our 2nd time and we loved it. The condo is so well equipped and clean and pleasant with all the comforts one could want. The owners have added some new features since we were last here (like flat screen T.V's and internet connection). It is truly home away from home. The location is great, within a short walking distance to stores and several very good restaurants AND a gorgeous beach!! The beach is so beautiful--we loved the beach!! and we hope to return again. We would highly recommend this condo without any hesitation.

We have been fortunate to visit FMB every October for a number of years to celebrate life. This was our first time at Captains Bay South, as we were lucky enough to "host" our daughter for 4 days of our 2 week stay and needed the added space. The unit was very comfortable and well equipped. It truely provides a home like setting in all respects. Chuck and Judy were very prompt to respond when "life happens...even on vacation!" It was a pleasure dealing with them, and certainly a pleasure to share their home away from home. Great Vacation

My family and I visited this condo in August 2011. The condo was beautiful with all the amentities of home. Chuck gave us wonderful suggestions of activities and restaurants during our stay. We would definately recommend this condo to all of our friends/family and we cannot wait to return for more fun in the sun and visiting the great beaches of Ft. Myers.

Great Fort Myers beach location

The unit was excellently equipped and ready for our beach vacation with all the comforts of home and everything necessary to enjoy the sun and beach. We especially liked the beaches in Bonita to the south. This has been the best value we have had so far and so convenient to everything.

My husband, my two children and myself spent two glorious weeks here in December. The location and accommodations could not have been better. Very clean, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with anything you can imagine. A wonderful experience and we will return.

We spent 2 weeks here including Thanksgiving with our children. Very quiet and peaceful location. The nicest, cleanist place we have ever been. Wonderful accommodations and anything we needed was provided. The unit looks brand new! Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home. We will return for our next beach vacation.

WOW What a great vacation. The condo had everything we needed or wanted. Very roomy and very clean. We were delighted with everything. WOW WOW WOW Living in Wisconsin Dells, we know what tourism is all about!! I must say everyone in Fort Myers Beach were so very friendly!! You guys know how to impress!! The condo was FANTASTIC!! Even better and bigger than the pictures. Everything was perfect!! Everything was so clean , neat, and provided anything we could have possibly needed. The CVS pharmacy, 7-11, a mini mall, and the big beautiful beach all within a 5-10 minute walk!! What more could I say than, this place was perfect!! Proper home from home. Everything we could have wanted and more was supplied for our use. Nice pool area with a peacefull and freindly atmosphere.Excellent location with easy access to a great stretch of beach with lots of wildlife about.Also in a great spot to explore many other interesting parts of Florida. We arrived here hoping for nice accommodations but never expected anything so tasteful. Coming from England and this being our first trip to Florida we were not sure what to expect. We have enjoyed every minute in you beautiful condo. To us in the UK it would be considered a penthouse.
