My family has stayed with you 2 years in a row and plan to continue for many years to come. The house was great and being able to pull the boat right up to the back of the house is awesome! Our only complaint would be the stove/oven is a little small for a big group but we make do. It certainly won't keep us from coming back. I have recommended the house to all our friends and we can't wait for next year.

My sisters, parents and families all gathered at this lake home for a get together. We had a blast! The house is large and on one level with a huge living area. Playing frisbee, horseshoes and football in the fenced yard was fun. Tubing on the lake and other water sports rocked (even though we couldn't use the property's launchramp and boathouse due to low water levels). The owner is very helpful both before and during the rental. We would recommend this place to our friends.

We had a great time at the lake house. The house was fully equipped and very spacious for our large group. I loved waking up to lake view outside our bedroom. We caught catfish and the kids loved playing outside and inside! We all had a very relaxing weekend, can't wait to come back again!!

Our weekend at the Cedar Creek lakehouse was wonderful! The location was close to the metroplex and very easy to find. It was equipped with everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio one evening and then on the newly built deck the next evening! The kitchen was large and fully equipped with appliances and dishes. The living area was so large and welcoming. We enjoyed playing games - inside and outside - and had plenty of room to spread out. We have already started telling others about our weekend and will plan to return again soon! Thank you, Leslie, for sharing your home with us!

This was our second year to stay at this house and we totally enjoy it! There is plenty of room and the kitchen has everything you need! The new deck was beautiful and a great place to enjoy morning coffee. The children enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake. Everything was clean and the owner is always helpful. We would definitely recommend this home. There is plenty of space for a large group to stay!

We've been to this property twice already this summer and are headed back there again in early August. It is our fave home away from home!! We've had large groups of teenagers, family reunions, and quiet family days there...all options are good on this property...you will love it!

Great Place for Family

We were attending our son's wedding in Malakoff and hosting a rehearsal dinner Fridy evening in Gun Barrel City so were looking for a place which would accommodate our family (11 of us ranging from an 8 year old to a 91 year old and everything in between). Since there were many activities in both Malakoff and Gun Barrel City, it turned out to be the perfect place for us. The pictures are very accurate. Everything was neat and clean.It is very roomy and everything you could possibly need is there. We only wish we had been able to stay longer as it would have been fun to just relax, kick back and watch videos and enjoy some lake activities. If we're lucky, we'll get a chance to do that sometime soon. Oh yes, Leslie was very helpful in providing information whenever i had a question.

Fantastic area and lakefront house

Our family had a reunion Easter weekend this year. Couldn't have asked for a better place. There was lots of room to gather in the well decorated house...the large kitchen and living area was arrranged beautifullly. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, we never felt crowded. We brought a canoe to use on the beautiful lake, and fished off the dock, sitting on the parkbench there. Lots of room for young and old alike to wet their lines...and catch several fish. We didn't have to worry about the youngest ones roaming too near the water's edge, because there was a fence with a gate there. The yard was well lighted for evening visiting outside, with a covered porch, and new deck, and lots of outdoor chairs and tables. Our 5 grandsons had a fun Easter egg hunt on the backyard lawn on Easter. The front of the house is mainly for parking...lots of parking...secured by a gate. We didn't even have to cook unless we wanted to. There are several good places to eat nearby, and a Walmart...in case we forgot anything. We had lots of fun, and memories to keep.

This was a wonderful place for a family reunion. The house was very spacious and fully equipped. The kids loved swimming in the lake and fishing off the pier. It was very relaxing and we were convenient to stores if we needed anything. With 5bdrm/5baths there was plenty of room for everyone. Everyone wants to come back next year and this will definitely be our "reunion" retreat! You must give it a try!

We had a wonderful stay at your lake house July 24 - 31, 2009. We had 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room. The patio and backyard were great for relaxing and watching the lake in the morning with a cup of coffee, and the backyard being gated was a big plus for our dog and two toddlers. The boat ramp and dock were wonderful and the location was ideal. The dock was great for feeding the ducks, swimming and fishing early in the morning and late in the evening. We had a great family trip and are already making plans for when we can come back.

I spent a week here with my family - 8 adults and 5 children. This house is huge so there was plenty of room. Kids had a blast fishing and jumping off the deck. The shaded patio and backyard were a blessing with record heat. Great location. Would love to stay here again next summer.

Several of my friends and I get together every May and rent a house somewhere. This was by far one of the best. The location was great. Lots of room, caught lots of catfish, and just a neat set up. The big screen TV came in handy for NBA playoffs. The owner was very cool to deal with, and I'm sure we'll be back. Thanks Leslie!

We spent Christmas here, and really appreciated the house already having a Christmas tree and many decorations. We enjoyed the fireplace and the wood was provided! There was plenty of parking for all of our extended family's vehicles. Being right on the water is terrific. Overall, it was a great time! Thanks.

We had a retreat here with Singles of Lavon Drive Baptist church of Garland, 11 attened and had a great time inside and out. Beutiful view, lots of space, nice yard for playing...we played croquet. Fed the ducks but next time will bring fishing poles to fish off the dock. Would use this house again. Having 5 baths is definetly a plus!!

That was a beautiful and conveniently located place for our family: 8-adults and 2-toddlers at a good rate. We came for family reunion and even during bad weather there was plenty of room inside. Nice big and covered patio. The gated backyard is a big plus for any pets. The boat ramp and pier were extrimely useful (for 16.5footer) even with lake down by ~2 feet. The lake area right off the property with a lots of fishing spots. There were several supermarkets and restaurants just a few miles away. Indeed a great place to family outing. We rented the house for Memorial Day and then again for 4th of July. We absolutely loved it. Perfect house for large groups and the boat dock is great for pulling your boat in or fishing off of. We have stayed at 4 different rent houses on Cedar Creek lake and this is the best one by far. We will rent again for sure. Thanks a lot!!!!!

This is a must place for any big group looking for room, location, and an excellent rate. We had our annual family reunion with 20 people (10 adults and 10 kids), and there was plenty of room inside the house, which is around 4000 square feet large. The house is extremely clean. The backyard is gated with thick grass and no ants which was an assuring thing for us since we had a one year old running around on the grass. The little girls were blowing bubbles, while the boys were playing catch with the football. The lake area right off the property is a great place to swim as it is only 4 1/2 - 5 feet deep with no vegatation to scrape your feet on. Walmart is just a couple of miles away, which makes it super handy for any large group. Definately, a great place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable house. The whole family was able to sprawl out and watch TV, play games, eat and relax. Plenty of room for everybody to hang out together, and plenty of rooms to go read and rest when you need your own quiet time. We will defiitely go back.

We stayed at the house past weekend with 11 of my family members (kids, mom, grandma, etc.) and everyone had plenty of room and a great time! Some fished right off the dock, some played horseshoes or badminton, and others relaxed in a rocking chair on the covered patio and watched everyone else!! We will definitely go again!!

What a wonderful getta way! The whole family loved it! We catch a load of catfish off the dock and we relaxed without a worry. What's great is the town of Gun Barrel is just big enough to buy what you need or eat out. But once you get at the house all you see is the Lake.

It was GREAT! So relaxing, everything is very clean and neat. Large window with a great view. Early morning rising with the sun warming you. Evenings the moon would glissen the water with silver. The water was slick and Jet Skiing was great; the water was slick as ice. Great way to relieve stress. We will return many times.

This lake house is the perfect getaway for your family or friends. The owner has made the place feel like home, and it has everything you will need. My family and I were very pleased with dealing with such a WARM hearted person in Ms.Leslie. The home is truely a home away from home.
