We purchased this condo because we believe a vacation should be something special and memorable, and we couldn't think of a better place to do that than my wife's childhood hometown - North Myrtle Beach.
The unit is in "the" luxury location in the high end Windy Hill area of North Myrtle Beach - right on the water with an ocean front view without obstructions. An impressive fitness center, hot tub, very large pool, a kiddie pool with a 1 foot depth, and a lazy river with a current that lets you float in out of the sun while enjoying a good book, getting a tan or making new friends.
The parking garage is covered and features a glass enclosed pedestrian bridge to the building - no walking through the rain or dealing with open parking many condo units in Myrtle beach have. All of the "little things" are available, such as a "unload" drop off area and an abundance of Luggage Carts and Shopping carts so you can quickly get started into your vacation and avoid too many "car to room" trips hand carrying all of your stuff.
You'll find the best of bedding and pillows so you'll be able to relax and enjoy sleeping away from home. The master bedroom and third bedroom both have king sized beds and private bathrooms (the ocean side master bathroom has a full sized garden tub and separate full sized shower stall), the 2nd bedroom has two new queen beds. There is also a pull out queen bed sofa in the living room - 10 folks can enjoy the unit comfortably - there is also seating for 10 out on the spacious deck!
Because for some of us, vacation also requires checking into work or just checking out the local entertainment and activities, broadband high speed internet service is included.
The living room has a big screen flat panel TV, HD cable DVR (so you can record your favorite shows while out at dinner or on the beach), a DVD player (regular and Blu Ray) and a surround sound system that will play DVDs or any music disks you'd like to hear. The Master Bedroom also includes a flat screen TV, HD cable and a DVD player (also plays Blu-Ray). Bedroom 2 (the second master bedroom with its own private bath) has a flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player.
Bedroom 3 (the one with the two queen beds), has a flat screen TV with cable, a Sony PS2 game console and Xbox console for the kids (there are a couple of games there and they should bring their own game disks) and a dvd player.
You can never have enough ice on a beach vacation, so we installed a light commercial icemaker which produces 25 lbs of ice per day (about 2 1/2 bags). Yes the GE Profile subzero freezer produces a lot of ice, but as we all know, between coolers and the smoothie/margarita maker we have in the condo, there is never enough ice. We know you will love this - we do. Just go to the beveragefactory website and search for BI-98 to check it out. There is a full sized high capacity washer and dryer in the unit. We also have an electric juicer in the unit if you enjoy fresh orange or grapefruit juice in the morning, a full featured food processor, a George Foreman grill, crock pot etc.
Of course there is a ice cold water cooler that holds a five gallon bottle of spring/purified water which you can buy at any of the local stores. If the previous renters left some over, please be kind and return and refill the empty bottle - there are always two bottles in the unit so you will never have to pay the deposit on the bottle - just take the empty bottle back to any local store.
Unlike most unit owners, we'll provide the key to the owners storage area just outside of the front door - so you can borrow our beach chairs, beach umbrella - we know you'll take care of them as if they were your own.
Forget a book? We have a library of 40 or so books for you to enjoy. If you don't finish one by the end of your vacation feel free to take it with you, all we ask is that if you take one, please leave one for other guests to enjoy.
We also have a 700 or so DVD (including Blu Ray DVDs) library for you to enjoy during your stay.
Here for golf? Roll out our practice putting green in the central hallway, its more than long enough.
Based on feedback from our renters, we purchased a dozen or so family favorite board games (such as Scrabble etc) that you can enjoy during your stay.
There are too many local activities to possibly list but we've left our "book" of local favorite restaurants, golf courses, amusement parks, entertainment and shopping - with prices, directions and phone numbers. Because of the prime location of Windy Hill Dunes, para-sailing and other water activity and rental locations are a very short walk up the beach.
We all get too few vacations/holidays in life with friends or family - each one should be treasured as "the best of times".
You'll see from the availability calendar that since we want you to enjoy your vacation as much as we enjoy ours, our unit gets reserved very quickly as we have more and more returning guests - make your reservations as soon as possible!

A+ Experience. Our stay was not like staying at a rental property, more like staying at someone else's home while they were away. We've vacationed in NMB annually for more than twenty years. Stayed in many different rental properties in the Windy Hill and Crescent beach areas, with different agencies and private owners. Some we returned to, most we did not, because they were nothing special, just more of the same. Libby and Tom were very responsive to our questions and requests, and did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. This WILL be my FIRST CHOICE when I return to NMB.

Perfect location (LOVE Windy Hill area), perfect weather, perfect condo. Many thanks to Libby for letting us share their beautiful condo for a week. You could not ask for anything more. Gorgeous balcony views. Extremely clean and very well organized-everything is labled. My teenaged girls loved the hundreds of DVD's and many board games available. Having beach chairs and umbrella available made packing much easier. The pools were warm and the area kept very clean. Libby, the owner, was wonderful to work with! Would definitely return and recommend to family & friends.

My family had a very enjoyable stay at this condo and it was exactly as advertised. Very clean, well equipped, and a gorgeous view of the ocean. The kids enjoyed the lazy river and pool and it was so nice not having to bring our own chairs, umbrella, etc. The 2 front bedrooms did not have cable TV, but they did have DVD players and the amazing movie library made it a pleasure to use them for that purpose. I would highly recommend this condo and appreciate the owner's helpfulness in answering our questions.
Owner response:Cable in the back bedrooms is something that we have escalated to the homeowners association and they have been working with Time Warner to get that resolved. We hope to have the work done sometime this fall (after Labor Day).

My family enjoyed our stay in this unit very much. Libby has seen to it that anything you could ask for is at your fingertips. "If it's not there.... you probablly didn't need it in the first place." The place was very clean (which is always my first prioity) and all the details were handled professionally and efficiently. I couldn't have been more pleased.

My wife and I have just completed a 6 month rental at Libby and Tom's condo. Everything was better than advertised. Everything from the knives and forks to the bedding is upgraded from the usual "condo packages". The kitchen utensils and appliances are outstanding as we put them to good use during our stay. Libby was always available to answer any questions pertaining to the unit and the property. The property is also meticulosly maintained by the house staff. I would highly recommend Libby's condo for weekly, monthly, and long term. I will definitly be staying here again for a winter rental. The t.v. cable is upgraded to more than the normal channels all in H.D. and includes a dvr. Also there is a movie library in the living room with nearly 300 titles, many in blue ray. I have vacationed in Myrtle Beach for over 20 yrs. in nearly 20 different condos and Libby's ranks up at the top. If you like to entertain during your stay you will most definitly appreciate the excellently appointed kitchen,hands down. Location is also a big plus. It is a 5 min drive to Barefoot Landing, a large supermarket,and many local restaurants. LOVED IT!!!!

I usually never write reviews but feel I need to on this one. My family and our close friends wanted to take our kids to the beach as a group this year and were looking for something with everything: location, amenities, and that home feeling. We had 4 adults and five kids ranging from 3-7 in age. We read the reviews for this place and honestly looked no further. Our expectations of the condo were very high. When we arrived the four adults had one common thought: WOW!!!! What we saw exceeded our expectations!!!! Tom and Libby put it all out there in their description. But what they cant put out there is the feeling of Welcome Home when you walk in. EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS HOME IS TOP NOTCH! (The ice maker saves you about $50 for the week). The furniture, the appliances, the cook ware, EVERYTHING is of top quality. The beach location is wonderful. Not too crowded at all and the lazy river and pool were clean and plenty big. I fell When you go on vacation you want to get away. But you do miss your home. Tom and Libby eliminate that feeling and have, in our opinion, risen the bar for vacation rental. Our future trips to NMB will be planned according to the availibilty of this home. There is no reason to look any further. I will recommend this to everyone. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Our thanks to you and Tom for sharing your home with us last week. We had a wonderful time and I was so excited to find that your condo wasn’t ‘stripped down’ to the bare bones like the other places we’ve stayed – it was the little things like the water cooler and the playing cards and a pad of paper to keep score and the zip lock bags just in case we needed to store something that really made us feel at home. Everyone in our group was very pleased with the condo and all the indulgences that we found there- we had plenty of elbow room and I think my son was getting very accustomed to having his own bathroom by the end of the week ! Thank you again for your part in helping us have a wonderful week at the beach
