Why the Owner Chose Port Clinton
Our family has owned properties for over fifty years in the Port Clinton area from Marble Head, to East Harbor, Catawba Cliffs and Sand Road. We settled at The Village At Waters Edge because it is a very small private community that offers a great central location close to everything! Private sandy beach, pool, hot tub, grocery stores, fine restaurants, walking distance to downtown Port Clinton, Jet Express Ferry and only 20 mins from Cedar Point.

WOW! This is truly a wonderful home! The house is clean and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. Although the weather wasn’t the best and we couldn’t enjoy the deck (it was October and you just never know what you’re gonna get in Ohio) it was still beautiful to watch the gulls on the water and the sunsets through the wall of glass. The two car garage was great. We were able to park two cars in the garage and it was a blessing to be able to pack and unpack without going out in the rain. Everything is close by too. Kroger’s and Super Wal-Mart are right down the street. If you don’t feel like cooking, Big Boy & Burger King are right next door to the development. We came to relax and enjoy each other’s company, so we didn’t leave the condo. BUT there is a lot to do in Port Clinton and Becky has a binder with all the information you need to help you plan. We only needed the stereo and CD player. We can’t wait to come back again! Thanks, Becky!

We had our family reunion at this beautiful house. We had family from several states to come in. There was lots of room to accommodate all of us. (10) The house was very clean and fully equipped for all our needs. Having a washer and dryer on site was great as well! The view was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this rental to anyone. Thanks Becky!

This was the perfect place for a girls' getaway weekend - Mom, sister, sister-in-law, and I spent a relaxing weekend in the quaint town of Port Clinton enjoying restaurants and shops, and just hanging out together. Becky's directions to the house were flawless, keyless entry worked perfectly. House is on 3 levels, but we had no problem with stairs - could be a problem for some. Everything was sparkling clean, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. Although the weather was too chilly during our October weekend stay to be able to enjoy the deck, at other times of the year it would be fantastic for relaxing, grilling, eating, and enjoying the view of the water. Took a short drive to the historic lighthouse - could see Cedar Point's roller coasters across the bay! - and enjoyed the galleries and shops nearby. This would be the perfect place for several couples or a larger family to share as their home base for sightseeing and enjoying the islands of Lake Erie. Acknowledging that a lake is a natural body of water and as such, is subject to variations in water and beach quality does not detract in any way from the quality of the accommodations in this lovely waterfront home, nor reduce its suitability for being just about anyone's vacation home away from home - unless swimming in the lake is your only reason for staying. I highly recommend Becky's Beach House! Thanks, Becky!

Accomodations were very nice. Pool and hot tub were great, as was the view. But the lake water was full of algae, and there was green pea soup like material washing up on the beach on multiple days. We swam some days, but other days my kids and I wouldn't even think of going in the water. Not the owners fault, but I wouldn't return due to the lake water (at this fairly high rental price), as the algae apparently comes every year at variable times.
